The next day, we will continue our adventure in Paracas! There, we will visit the amazing Ballestas Islands on a boat tour and The National Reserve, where we will be surrounded by amazing landscapes. Nasca Lines – The Sacred Landscape The lines are known as geoglyphs – drawings on the ground made by removing rocks and earth to create a “negative” image. The rocks which cover the desert have oxidized and weathered to a deep rust color, and when the top 12-15 inches of rock is removed, a light-colored, high contrasting sand is exposed. Because there’s so little rain, wind and erosion, the exposed designs have stayed largely intact for 500 to 2000 years. Scientists believe that the majority of lines were made by the Nasca people who flourished from around A.D. 1 to 700. Certain areas of the pampa look like a well-used chalk board, with lines overlapping other lines, and designs cut through with straight lines of both ancient and more modern origin.

After a 10 day Traveling adventure with a group through another traveling group, my friend and I opted for a private tour of Rainbow Mountain! Unfortunately it snowed on the day we reserved our tour; however it was one of our most enjoyable days due to the kindness of our guide Richard. He was very informative regarding the history and culture of the area and people. We were able to see some beautiful sites on the way to and home. We met some local folks, stopped by a lovely place to eat Los Cabanas and have coffee. The food was awesome!! Richard took some beautiful photos and was patient with us when we wanted to stop to view some sights/alpacas!! The time with Cusco Holiday Peru Servicios Turisticos was one of our most favorite and memorable!! Thanks for such a wonderful time and adventure!!

Shortly after booking the trip to Caral, I received a message from them asking if I would be willing to change the date of my trip to the day after. Even though I would be going to the airport later that evening, I agreed to change the date. WRONG MOVE. Because I changed the date, my trip advisor confirmation was now INACCURATE about the date of the event. Fast forward to a few days before the event was supposed to happen, I got seriously ill with food poisoning. To the point of considering a visit to the hospital. I emailed them (well before 24 hours as their policy states) to cancel my trip. I didn’t think it was wise to get on a bus and drive far away after having this experience. THEY DENIED MY REFUND. Even though, if you have the correct date and time on your trip advisor confirmation, you can cancel a trip yourself no problem - see photo. They are withholding my money. If you try to dispute it, they’ll say you agreed to the terms and conditions. Beware if they ask you to change the date cause you won’t get your money back if you need to cancel.

Where do I start? I’m a solo traveler who booked a ticket to Peru 4 days before the flight and I’ve never been to South America and nor can I speak Spanish which made me anxious. Peru Hop was the first company I contacted via email and they have been super helpful!! From all the communication, the arrangements, Peru hop made it so so easy!! It’s not like the hop on hop off buses in Europe, this is a tour full of experiences and I’m always skeptical for paying to travel around but this is well worth it. More importantly the guides were great in particular Ricardo!! This guy made me feel so welcomed, talked to me like we’ve know each other for ages. He answered all my questions, made enquirer for me, and looked after me. Alex have such good insight to the national reserve. I met wonderful people and had the best time of my life. I’m booking Peru Hop again for Cusco to lake titicaca. I don’t usually write reviews but I had to share how good they were.

This tour is the best deal - includes all the fees, and transfer to/from the hotel in Miraflores made it super convenient. Got to see all the various birds, Humboldt penguins, and of course, seeing, and hearing, the sea lions up close in their natural habitat was spectacular.

I worked with Huacachina Tours to set up the perfect bachelor/bachelorette experience for my best friend, her future husband, and 20 of our closest friends. From start to finish the experience was incredible! We booked the Ica pisco and wine tasting, followed by the dune buggy and sandboarding experience, as well as private glamping for the night. They set up a lunch spot, prepared dinner at our campsite, and took us to breakfast and the food at all 3 locations was great! We were very pleased with everything. Everyone from the Huacachina Tours team was so kind, helpful, and really went above and beyond to make our experience unforgettable. We had an amazing time and we're all blown away with how much fun we had and how well everything was set up. I highly recommend this company!

Very good and informative, guide had great English and great knowledge. Walked the same area the day previous and had no idea of the buildings and histories I was passing. Would recommend and will use inca trilogy tours again for more excursions.
