This is a wonderful open air market in the Altstadt area of Dusseldorf. Many businesses ranging from fruit and vegetables vendors to delicious eateries and wine bars. Our favorite eatery is the Pahlke Feine Fischkost where one can enjoy either fish pasta salads or tasty codfish with vegetables. If you are free for lunch this is the place to come. Also there are vendors who sell thuringer, bratwurst and curry wurst with pommes frites (chips). All in all a very pleasant place to experience. We all know Haribo so when we were in Bonn we paid a visit to Haribo sweet shop wow there is so much you can buy if you like their Bears then you can buy them in the flavor you like most also there is all the sweets they make and that includes ones you dnot get in the UK well worth a visit

Lindt chocolates!! What more can I say........ The selection is huge, prices are good compared to the high street and they have plenty of empty boxes for you to put all your goodies into!! We had driven over to Aachen from England, this outlet store is easy to find and it's got free parking. It was an ideal time of year to visit for Xmas presents etc, also just up the road there's another outlet store selling gingerbread products, biscuits etc made by Lambertz, this is well worth visiting too.
