New measures have been introduced by Folkestone & Hythe District Council in response to the sheer numbers of people visiting the Lower Leas Coastal Park. These measures include: Banning barbecues in the Coastal Park with immediate effect. BBQ pods have been removed. Refreshing the double yellow lines along Radnor Cliff Road. Installing a lockable barrier on the Coastal Park car park and close this overnight from 8pm - 8am to discourage groups from staying late into the evening. We are unable to release any vehicles over night. Installing additional signage and exploring the use of large electronic signage located at various points in the district/access points to the park areas. Increasing the amount of enforcement and advisory officers to give a higher visual presence. We will be issuing warnings - and potentially fines - to anyone acting in a way that negatively impacts on others.
This park is along the cliff and under cliff of Folkestone and provides a lovely green walk between the town above and the sea below. It is a pretty Victorian experience - an amphitheatre with the sea as a backdrop; attractively planted flower beds; a zig-zag path up the cliff through the the trees to the bandstand on the esplanade above. And all the time, the sea and pebble beaches stretching out to give lovely views. What a treat - and all for free. I wonder if the funicular railway/lift works in the summer to complete the back-in-time experience.

This is a great playground for children with swings for various ages, a zip wire which our grandchildren are too young for yet, imaginative slides and wooden houses that children love to spend time in. Then you can see the boats going by on the river and walk easily into Westgate Gardens and feed the ducks and moorhens. What more could young children want??? We take some frozen sweet corn or peas which have defrosted by the time we get to the ducks and they love this, often coming up on to the riverbank along with the pigeons. The bridge between Toddlers Cove and the Gardens have some lovely pictures and a poem by local poet Maggie Harris. If you are doing any grannie or grandpa sitting which we do once a week this is definitely a place to go.

Buzy Bee’s has undergone a refurbishment, and the new management team aims to provide an excellent and welcoming play experience. Buzy Bee’s is the perfect space for little Bee’s aged 0-12 years to explore and enjoy themselves. As well as being great fun and allowing them to ‘let off steam’, it’s good for your little Bee’s. So while they’re enjoying themselves, they’re also developing physically,

Tonight attended an exclusive party at Clubworld. Staff and facilities were amazing. Have been to a number of soft play places and all equipment was far superior as well as being clean and well laid out compared to many. All involved in the running of Clubworld were friendly and helpful. Can not recommend high enough as a place to go.

Located on the site of the former Betteshanger Colliery, on the outskirts of Deal, Betteshanger Park, provides an outstanding space for anyone wishing to access and explore the outdoors. While away a few hours or fill a whole day, the glorious 250 acre country park setting provides access for all and has activities for a range of abilities - from those seeking adventure through to those wanting something more leisurely. Enjoy miles of traffic free cycling; explore muddy mountain bike trails; swing and climb in the play park; take aim on the archery range; build dens in the woods; dig for fossils in the coal spoil; work up a sweat on the military fitness course or be a treasure hunter on the geocaching routes. Open 7 days a week.
Visited Betteshanger for their wonderful Easter Trail with my 15 month old daughter. It couldn’t have been organised better. Wonderfully magical decorations and activities for children of all ages. The staff and Peter Rabbit were so friendly and good with the children. We will be making this a regular place to visit!

Tiny Town' represents a new concept in Children's soft play areas with state of the art 3G astro-turf football pitches, Electric Go-Karts for birthday parties, Giant Zorbing Balls and bespoke party log cabins. The 20,000 sq ft 'Town' is made up of a number of soft play zones which are both educational and entertaining. It is the mission of Tiny Town to offer a great value destination for children and parents alike. It's the place where children come to play, learn and dream about the future.
Tiny Town has always been such an incredibly special place for my younger brother (who is on the autistic spectrum), he has so many fantastic memories from visiting throughout his childhood! The staff are always so wonderfully kind & welcoming to the whole family, and their understanding & accepting attitude towards my brother is genuinely heartwarming. To see how calm, happy & confident he becomes whilst playing at Tiny Town is beyond words, and means so very much to our whole family! Thank you everyone at Tiny Town, you are all superstars!!!
