I contacted Terry out-of-the-blue, from Australia, to act as a buyer’s agent and he was excellent even though my request was outside the scope of his operations! I made an initial purchase when visiting Beijing last June with repeat orders made on-line. The subsequent on-line orders transacted without incident until the supplier suffered a recent Cyber Attack! The hacker imitated emails from the supplier regarding a change in banking arrangements making it impossible for me to differentiate between the two. My daughter and I had the pleasure of having Qing as our tour guide. We had a great experience. Qing was very knowledgeable and added funny commentary to engage my 9 year old daughter, whom is not interested in History (yet)! We learned a lot about Chinese history and culture, with the added benefit of being allowed to take ample time to take a multitude of pictures. Qing has hosted this tour for many years, so she provided us with tips to take the most flattering shots in this historical venue. I would definitely recommend Qing when taking this tour. We will remember this experience forever.

I have travelled with YAT Travel since 2018 and the places that I went with them are North-East China, Harbin, Heilongjiang, Guizhou, West Sichuan and the most recent one that I went is the Silk Road and North Xinjiang. All together they were 3 long tours, all covering more than 20 days in each trip. I find this travel agency reliable and they deliver what were promised in the itineraries. They guides that were assigned to us are passionate and responsible in their duties..namely Zach and Jason whom I have the privilege to meet. Both of them went all the way out to make sure their guests are comfortable and well taken care of. If not for the pandemic the whole world is facing now, I would have gone with YAT for my fourth trip and that is to Yunnan Photography Tour in March this year. When the trip was cancelled due to the pandemic our deposits were promptly refunded by the company to our much relieved. If you plan to see China as a traveller and not seeing the usual touristy stuff which is often jam packed and very commercialised I would highly recommend YAT Travel. They will bring you to see the real interesting China and not forgetting to mention the delicious local food they bring to.

Lily was a wonderful tour guide! I had been to the Terra Cotta Warriors site before, but I didn't realize how much I didn't know until Lily showed us around. She was knowledgeable, friendly, engaging and she catered to our wishes. She even suggested the perfect restaurant for lunch afterwards and introduced us to a variety of teas that we sampled (before purchasing, of course :) Lily was patient with us (there were three of us in our little group and we each went at different paces) and she was easy to spend time with. We never felt rushed. She also knew a few shortcuts, for example, taking the tram to the site, which saved us time and energy. I highly recommend Travel China Guide, their star tour guide, Lily and the expert driver!
