Reviewed By Bar_none_travelRoom good size and clean. Staff was amazing. Coffee, Tea and a microwave at front desk. Good size fridge in room. Starting to show wear but in decent repair for price. If driving through we would happily stop for night here. It's located few short blocks from two breakfast restaurants, a Costco and Shakers Restaurant. So beer, burgers, brekkie and room food all convenient. Few issues. Bed frame: My husband 6'2" and didn't fit comfortably in bed because has metal footboard. Usually his feet hang over edge when we get doubles and it's fine but footboard a problem. Spend extra $5 for the queen if you are tall. :-) Bathroom door: the hinge was damaged in our room. The door opened and closed just fine but it squealed outrageously making night time bathroom trips bothersome. Location: if Touristing and chose to drive into downtown Ottawa, the drive is short but parking in Ottawa outrageous. We spent $27 in parking for one days visit. Knowing that, I think I would probably spend that much extra to stay walking distance of downtown. Having said that, if we stop to overnight on our way home I would stay here again. The room was decent and management was lovely.

Very poor customer service
Reviewed By martinmM8482YVI booked a 1 night stay at this motel, which I cancelled by mistake while using Expedia Virtual Agent. The motel charged me the full price. Expedia called the motel twice trying to get the booking re-instated or the penalty cancelled or even just a credit for a future stay. The motel refused to do anything. I called as well, but was never able to reach anyone. I left a message, as advised and never got called. I will never book here again.

Reviewed By TMVolta3 nights there, super super clean; outside and inside. Nice staff. Breakfast bags were small, but enough to start the day ; for 99$ per night you can't beat that. 7 minutes from Ottawa. DVD players available at the office if you want to rent a movie, but the lady in charge didn't know that when asked. But, it turned out good with help from a colleague. The Pool is nice. Not a bad thing to say about that place. Good deal, folks! You'll have a nice stay.

Horror in Gatineau with Horrific Owners Rose and Henry
Reviewed By wonderw411This hotel and theyr owners are horrible. There's an ominous feeling as you approach this halfway house claiming to be a motel. This is only confirmed with the used furniture that they call furnishings. The rooms look like a jail cell. You will definitely run into drug dealers, pimps and prostitutes, some of which will be minors. There are also honest labour class working men that would be far more comfortable a block away, at the same price I'm sûre. The owners Rise and Henry play Let's Make a Deal and if you agree to cancel your online reservation, they'll knock a few bucks off the rate. This way they don't have to pay the website or app the commission due. Rose wanted to keep 30.00 from a 100.00 security deposit for bronzer on a pillowcase but when I told her I would express this behaviour in an online review, she said she was keeping the full 100.00 and booking com didn't help considering they wanted a review and I noticed she had cancelled that 2 day reservation though my banking information shows I stayed there.

NOTHING LIKE THE PICTURES> Had about an inch of dust on headboard.Coffee stains on fridge,windowsill in bathroom needs to be clean.Dead bugs on bathroom ceiling.Since I always carry disinfecting wipes I putted them to good use. Pool,was clean and refreshing,continental breakfast was good.This was the first time that I had to put a extra $100.00 deposit on the room,even though it was paid in full upon arrival. The following morning the room was check before we got our money back, is this normal for a woman in her early sixties?

Reviewed By TrippieboyWent there for a wedding at the Golf Course nearby. Horrible! My 86 year old mother was booked into a room across from us on the third floor. When we arrived there, she was booked on the third floor and we were magically booked in the basement in the 'All Inclusive" suite. Some people showed up while we were at the counter and were tole to seek accommodations elsewhere, after they had booked with this hotel. When we returned from the wedding, we could not enter our room. The lock malfunctioned. We had to sleep with my mom in her room. This is the worst stay we've ever had. This hotel is away from anything else and is not too keen on ethics. Avoid this location!!

Works for what's needed
Reviewed By CalJayRoom was clean. A/C Worked. Bed wasn't great. Owner was friendly - check in was during covid, interactions were done smoothly and safely. There's a shopping centre across the street and fast food and restaurants nearby. If you are staying there to visit the Ontario side be aware there's a ferry that costs $10 per ride to get to Rockland/Orleans/Sarsfield/Ottawa

Reviewed By Kitty KA great little no frills motel. Clean, simple, affordable. Bed was small but comfortable. Staff was friendly and easy to deal with. Even when they made an error with our reservation they were quick to fix it. Will visit again.

Way to waste money
Reviewed By lonlywaySmall and cheap motel, and also dirty and old. wood sculpture in bath room started to rotten, and also the tv looks like its has been salvage during the vietnam war. Also I stayed for two days, but the owner didnt make up the bed for second night, and didnt change towels. If someone wants to divorce or break up with spouce or friend, I would recommend this place to start up the fire
