Relaxed and authentic stay in an amazing surrounding
Reviewed By Claudia FA very nice, clean and quiet guest house directly at the Maninjau lake. The hosts are very welcoming and helpful in any aspect. The self-description of the Beach Guest House is pure understatement. I loved staying there, taking bathes in the lake every day and eating the excellent homemade food, enjoying the nature and friendly company. I definitely recommend to stay with Jack and his family!!!

Reviewed By Kate LI stayed at Canyon Jungle stay for 10 days as a solo female traveler. Staying at Canyon Jungle Stay was such a treat. I felt right at home, and the staff was extremely accommodating. They picked me up at the bus station when I arrived, and dropped me off when I left. They offered me rides to anywhere I needed to go, prepared delicious breakfast everyday, and were so friendly. We even had a couple of cooking classes in their kitchen! I loved doing yoga every morning on the deck, overlooking the canyon, taking runs through the rice fields across the street, sipping coffee on the porch at my cottage, and just hanging out with the staff. The views were absolutely breathtaking, the vibes, the good energy, and the FRESH air. It was such a sweet escape. 10/10 Recommend, and I hope to come back soon!!

Located on white sandy beach and the tropical rain forest in a pristine environment, we minimize the side effect of our existence by reuse and recycle material for buildings and furniture, also minimize use of cement. The jungle behind the bungalow are home of many wildlife,such: Hornbill, Sea Herron, Gibbon, Simpai etc. On the crystal clear sea at the front, home of turtle, colorful fish and coral reef.

Reviewed By andy6six6This place must be heaven on earth. A very quiet place far away from civilization. Beautiful surrounding, simple but great accomodation built from recycled material. The owner is a very nice and helpful guy. Hope we can come back one day!

Reviewed By C7309VWdonnakThe location is perfect, making it so easy to walk to a number of stunning waterfalls and swimming holes. Devi our host was so warm, friendly and helpful to us. She cooked us beautiful dinner and breakfast. Kept beer cool in the refrigerator for us. Devi studied agriculture in Australia, she understood us perfectly and explained everything to us in the best English we’ve heard since leaving Australia. Devi upgraded us to another room free of charge. She advised us on transport to Padang and drove us to the bus station when we were leaving. I’m not sure if you could expect anything more. Devi describes her place accurately. Thanks from Donna and Hugh.
