Reviewed By limorp2013Tanya is a remarkable woman who does everything at the hotel with plenty of love. The rooms are clean and big , the breakfast and dinner were delicious and plenty of it. New Year Ski trip.
Reviewed By BigaggisArrived on the train from Salzburg, only a 5 minute walk from the Station. The Hotel overlooks the railway at the front & main road at the back, but is far enough away for there to be no noise problem. We had a room facing the pretty garden at the rear. It was very big & comfortable with a nice size modern bathroom with a large walking shower. The dining area was a number of areas with the bar at the far end. The food was very good especially the meals they served my wife, who is a Coeliac. It was nice to sit around the horseshoe bar in the evening or having a coffee through the day. The ski rooms were very spacious & spotlessly clean as the hotel was. To get the ski bus you just walked along the road, through the station tunnel to the bus stop just outside to the right of the station building, 5-8 minutes walk. There is a sauna, also a play area for children & gym. The WiFi is intermittent unless you’re in the dining/bar area. The hotel is run by the family & staff who give a professional & very friendly service . Totally lovely atmosphere It is a really nice place to stay, I’d certainly stay again

Brilliant
Reviewed By Abi LVery friendly, clean, safe hotel. They went above and beyond to make sure we were well fed and looked after, you can tell it is the family’s pride and joy. The salad buffet before a three course meal every evening was wonderful on its own. The skiing in Hinterglemm-Saalbach was endless, great location, given half a chance we will be back!

Reviewed By FaadesCan’t recommend this hotel enough. Fantastic hotel, felt so welcomed. Breakfasts are fabulous, location great and staff/owners can’t do enough for you. Spotlessly clean also. Rooms are beautiful and spacious. Only a 1 minute walk from one of the main ski lifts.

You can access all facilities within walking distance (the cable cars Schattberg, Kohlmais and Bernkogel are only a short walking distance away). We also have our own Ski-rental to deliver you the best material. We offer you halfboard with a four-course menu with a salad- ans soup-buffet. Our comfortable rooms and regional specialityes will make you enjoy your stay from the first moment.

The rooms are clean, a great selection for breakfast (sausages, scrambled eggs, meats, vegetables, cheese, jams, corn flakes, fruits). Staff very nice and helpful. There is storage space for bicycles and skis. Parking for cars fee: 5€/day.

Reviewed By stinkerleDie Zimmer waren mini und wurden bei 3-tägiger Buchung nicht gereinigt, keine Betten gemacht, ebenso das Bad. Frühstück für 8 Euro stelle ich mir auch anders vor. Viele holländische Besucher, vielleicht ist das dort Standdart. Bad nur für kleine Leute geeignet.

Great location, nice house, warm welcome, pleasant stay
Reviewed By Kata MAs the starting spot of our bicycle tour along the river Mur we booked our first accommodation in St. Michael im Lungau. However, our apartment was not available (apparently double booked), so the kind owner of the neighbouring Landhaus Lungau came to our rescue. Landhaus Lungau is located at the foot of Katchberg, roght off the bike route, about 2 mins off the main road leading to Sticklerhutte, with a bus stop nearby. It is surrounded by two other houses, one with farm animals, and the other with beautiful horses. We were 6 and so we ended up staying in a fully renovated room and in family room which has not yet been redone - both very fine, spotless clean, comfortable, with a beautiful view of the mountains. Although we were prepared to self-cater, we could not resist the deliscious soup made by the Hungarian chefine, and then the buffet breakfast in the beautiful garden. All in all we had a very pleasant stay, and hope to be back some time soon.

Reviewed By 160karinsDie Pension ist sehr nett und familiär geführt. Der Vermieter ist sehr hilfsbereit und bemüht. Er gibt auch gerne Auskunft über Ausflugsmöglickeiten. Das Zimmer ist sauber und gemütlich. Wir hatten einen tollen Blick vom Fenster. Immer wieder gerne!

Reviewed By Alan HGreat Hotel. We arrived very wet after a big thunderstorm and the hotel had a great boiler room were we were able to get out kit dry. The rooms were very nice and comfortable. Great to get in and get showered after getting so wet. Great variety on the menu and the beer is good.
