Stay after a friend's wedding
Reviewed By sprinceyVery friendly service, great decor and a lovely quiet room. The only downfall was when we checked in we was told that breakfast was until 10.00, the staff member even pointed to the time on a sign. We came down at 9.45 and everything was packed away and the staff in the area told us breakfast was only served until 9.30. We was then told that it's until 10.00 on a weekend. Did feel a bit like we wasn't believed when we explained that we was told it was until 10.00. There was 2 of us,we both heard and saw the same thing.

A very charming hotel in a formal monastery. De building has been reconstructed in 2012 which means that there are 20 bedrooms available in dfferent price categories ( € 40 - € 120). Is now is a place where wedding couples find a destination in the middle of the woods, where you can party, organise (business) meetings but also where you can have a drink after you have cycled of walked in the woods. A charming place where everybody is welcome.

Reviewed By ShutrIf you arrive after 19:00 and it's dark outside, keep in mind that you have to drive along a badly lit forest path to reach the former monastery. Reception was friendly. The room was clean, the bed had a nice mattress and a washbasin with mirror. The shared toilets and showers are spacious and modern. There is a cozy bar with an excellent wireless internet connection and good beer. The breakfast which is praised in the other reviews is indeed extensive and tastes delicious.

Hotel Taurus is a family driven Hotel with 6 rooms in the center of Cuijk. all services are available in and in the surrounding of the hotel. The river "maas" is only 150 meters away from the hotel. The hotel is a 8 minutes walk from the trainstation. Cuijk is connected to serveral bicycle networks en walking networks.

Reviewed By VStrom83Stayed here on spec heading back to ferry after trip round Europe. Friendly staff. Were allocated a room at the rear in a small separate 'motel' block of 2 rooms which was perfect for our needs. Very high standard for the price paid and great value. 2 mins walk to numerous cafes, bars and restaurants including the hotels own cafe but quiet location for a good nights sleep. Hidden parking at rear. Would definitely recommend if in this area.

Reviewed By LaraliaWij hebben de b&b gevonden via Internet en mede vanwege de positieve reacties geboekt. Er wordt gevraagd om de overnachting(en) te betalen voor aankomst. Een b&b waar je super vriendelijk wordt ontvangen met een eigen parkeerplaats en een zeer complete kamer met terras. De kamer grenst aan een goed uitgeruste keuken waar je een eigen koelkast tot beschikking hebt en gratis koffie/thee. Je kunt ook zelf koken indien je dit is wenst. Voor het ontbijt kun je zelf aangeven wat je lekker vindt en staat op de gewenste tijd voor je klaar. De b&b is schoon, netjes, heerlijk rustig en absoluut een aanrader! De tips van de eigenaren voor de omgeving (Vughtse heide-Moerputtenbrug-IJzeren man-Heusden) te bezoeken was top. We hebben heerlijke dagen gehad.

Reviewed By David CJust on the outskirts of this village in quiet farm location The establishment is a family house and kennels with lots of award winning dogs and farm animals but carefully segregated from guests so no need to worry if you are not a dog lover Rooms spacious clean with private bathroom, TV and adjacent shared kitchen living room with all tea coffee facilities and breakfast served here There is a nice area to sit outside with cushions etc provided a large parking area Only drawback is its 25min walk to the restaurants so own transport essential Not to everyone's cup of tea if you prefer the more modern type B&Bs but excellent value and no complaints

Ge-wel-dig!
Reviewed By T3928XYisabelrEen fantastisch weekend gehad bij de Verloren Sinjoor. Ons paard kreeg een heerlijke stal met paddock (er is ook mogelijkheid tot weidegang) en wij een prachtige moderne studio met eigen tuin. Het ontbijt is top en er werd regelmatig gevraagd of we nog iets nodig hadden. Voor ruiters en menners een ideale plaats om je route te beginnen. Via het zandpad aan de achterzijde ben je vrij snel in het bos en op de heide (soms stukken over asfalt, maar dit zijn rustige wegen). Een andere optie is om richting de vennen te gaan, ook hier kun je urenlang rijden zonder te verdwalen als je gebruik maakt van de ruiterknooppunten. Een kaart hiervan krijg je bij de Verloren Sinjoor als je wil. Ook voor fietsers is het een prachtige omgeving! Wij komen hier zeker nog eens terug!
