Could do better but not bad
Reviewed By 2739emmaHotel room nice and clean. Hotel has a late night bar underneath which is quite noisy. We were facing the river so quieter than the street rooms. Absolutely no information in the room. I was asked to check in online, I did and that was the end of the email conversation. Had to go through my booking confirmation to find a telephone number to use WhatsApp and find out about breakfast and wifi. The lack of information is very disappointing.

Could not be better
Reviewed By Warthog69If you are looking for a clean comfortable room with an owner who could not be more helpful this is a good place to stay. Located above a Mexican restaurant about 10 minutes walk from the main railway station this was a perfect base for my trip to Nuremberg and Munich. The room was small but had everything I needed including a fridge stocked with the basics to make a snack using the adjacent kitchenette. Many examples of good service but my favorite was when the owner swapped the Fanta in the fridge for Coke when she found out that I much preferred that. And the price was very reasonable I am planning on staying again next year.

Reviewed By wernerschalkDas Wenden ist ein schönes Hotel und Restaurant mitten in Wendelstein. Das Restaurant ist nett eingerichtet und sehr gemütlich. Sehr gehobenen Küche. Absolute Highlights: - Steinpilz- Carpaccio - allerbeste Wildbratwürste - selbst gemachter Kartoffelsalat (mit Kartoffeln aus dem Ort) - Hirschbraten Alles super lecker und frisch. Jederzeit wieder!

Very basic hotel, with basic facilities
Reviewed By kitb2017There was an exhibition taking place in Nuremberg, so options were very limited. The SP Hotel is very basic: small rooms with just a basin. One toilet ans one shower cubical for common use, no ensuite. Thin walls, so noise from other rooms came through. All this for €130 per night! Staff were friendly and breakfast was good, but overall not a great stay and way overpriced.

Perfect Location
Reviewed By 445petebAbsolutely FANTASTIC location a few metres from the walled entrance. We arrived on Whit Sunday for one night so car wasn't allowed into the town itself so had to pay for parking in nearby car park. This was only four euro for the time we were there so no real problem.My wife and I had the downstairs apartment and our friends a room upstairs. The place is old and dated, no real surprise when you consider location, and is in dire need of refurbishment but it was clean and tidy and we both had a good night's sleep.......The breakfast served by Frau Freund herself was substantial and more than adequate....We found Frau Freund very helpful and a good conversationist. Would certainly visit again.....Excellent value for money.

Sehr schöner Aufenthalt im romatischen Franken
Reviewed By christianmB1062UHDie Lage der Pension ist optimal zum Wandern und entspannen, aber auch ein günstiger Ausgangspunkt für Besichtigungen in der Umgebung (z. B. Rotenburg ob der Tauber). Die Wirtsleute empfingen uns spätabends sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend, die Zimmer sind geschmackvoll eingerichtet und sehr komfortabel, WC/Dusche modern und bequem und alles top sauber. Die Versorgung ließ keine Wünsche offen: ein reichhaltiges Frühstücksbuffet, selbst gebackenes Brot, alles frisch zubereitet, beim Grillabend gab es schmackhafte Leckerbissen und einfallsreiche Beilagen - und davon jeweils mehr als reichlich. Wir kommen definitiv wieder!

Reviewed By Shaz1324Booked an over night here on our road trip to Bulgaria. Cant fault this lovely guesthouse. On a working farm in a lovely little village. The hosts were excelent and it clearly reflects the hard work love and devotion that has gone into this venture. Spotless clean room comfy beds great continental breakfast.they didnt do an evening meal but the host made us a cold meat and cheese bread and salad with home made incredients from their organic farm which was very much appriciated after a long drive from Calais.would not hesitate in recommending and would stay again.oh and lovely cold beer. Value for money too.
