Reviewed By batty81Si quieres explorar las bellezas de la Guajira, es un buen sitio para tener como base, desde allí, puedes hacer diferentes rutas a los destinos que hayas elegido, en nuestro caso, hicimos la excursión para ver los flamencos, una experiencia fantástica con Juan, quien fue nuestro guía(perteneciente a la etnia Wayuu), con él también fuimos al Cabo de la Vela, te quedas sin palabras para describir la belleza de sus playas y paisaje desértico, Riohacha (tan solo a 20 minutos) y Manaure para ver las minas de sal. En Camarones nos Hospedamos en Mar Azul, 100% ecológico, rodeado de la naturaleza de la región, son cabañas a la orilla del mar, duermes con el arrullo de las olas, las camas son cómodas, la comida es deliciosa y la atención inigualable. Eso, si, debes estar preparado para dormir sin aire pero te aseguro que no hace falta, las noches son bastante frescas. Algunas veces no teníamos agua, pero notificabamos al personal y enseguida nos llegaba el suministro. Recomendado al 100% Preferiblemente viajar en los meses en los que no hay lluvia.

Reviewed By elitassWe spent a night here because we were going birding in Los Flamencos Sanctuary. Room is basic, but bed is comfy and it has AC, that's very important here because days are HOT! the staff is super nice and the food is amazing! Rooms and restaurant are close to the beach and sunset there is beautiful. This place is definitely worth to visit. (For birders: from restaurant we saw Vermilion Cardinal, Bare-eyed Pigeon, Brown-throated Parakeet and many others)

Reviewed By ROXIAVILAEs un hotel ejecutivo para adultos, con buenos acabados y el personal se esmera en la atención. No está en el malecón, pero en Riohacha todo queda cerca. Buena tarifa acorde al precio. Para nosotros tiene mejor servicio que el hotel Gimaura y el hotel Castillo de Mar. Para destacar la terraza del último piso, tiene muy buen ambiente para beber algo y escuchar música. En el desayuno les falta variedad, es un desayuno americano con huevos, fruta y pan. Nuestra visita fue con niña pequeña y nos colaboraron con unos sandwiches. Las habitaciones full aire, con ventana, baño privado, no tienen nevera, pero en los 3 hoteles que hemos ido difícilmente conseguir minibar en las habitaciones. Volveremos.

Las habitaciones muy limpias con tv, aire acondicionado, toallas limpias. Las habitaciones cerca a la entrada aunque no parece si son silenciosas. Recomendado.

Lovely stay
Reviewed By shirinredqThe hostel was comfortable, breakfast was great and the bathrooms were a great surprise. Each tent has its own bathroom which is clean and not what you normally expect with a hostel. The staff were attentive and I would stay here again.

Don Álvaro y doña Clara son muy amables, están pendientes de los huéspedes y brindan un servicio de primera. Las instalaciones son cómodas, limpias y funcionales. Hay una cocina equipada y una sala con hamacas muy útiles. Lo recomiendo al 100%

A nice big room and clean swimming pool
Reviewed By caity12345For a very decent price we had a lovely stay in the color hostel. The breakfast was decent and there was coffee (There is no great coffee in palomino). Our room was very big and opened out to the backyard which was nice. We used the pool table which was free and they even drove us to the next town to use an ATM (for a small fee). It is a bit far from the beach but would defintely stay here again.

Eco-lodge built in bamboo (guadua in Spanish), self-supplied with water and electricity thanks to solar panels. The hotel has 4 double rooms with bathrooms and a 4-bed dormitory. Breakfasts are included. A mirador offers a splendid view of the Sierra Nevada and its snow-capped peaks. The numerous terraces and relaxing corners invite you to relax. The hotel is nestled in an oasis of greenery of 5000 m2 at 300 m from the beach.
Beautiful stay in palomino
Reviewed By Guuusb94We really liked our stay in Palomino bij Casa du Guadua. The garden is beautiful and relaxing. Less then 5 minutes walking to the beach and 10 minutes to the main road. The managers, a very nice swiss couple made the stay complete. Very helpfull and kind. Absolutely recommend this place if you go to Palomino! Guus & Robert (guys from Holland) ;)
