Reviewed By 100AnitaThis is my 2nd time to stay in Baikalsky Plyos. The 1st time was in the last year Mar2018. After my friends and family looked on our last year photos, they were attracted and insisted to have a trip to Baikal. Final we planned and had our trip to Baikal on Mar2019 again. We had total 16 persons this time and scheduled stay in Olkhon for 5D4N. Of course, Baikalsky Plyos was our 1st choice to stay. Gala was great helpful to arrange accommodate, transfer to/from Irkutsk, local tours to us. There had great differ from last years since there have lots of new hotels and hostels nearby. Our dinner and breakfast were still in Gala private kitchen. There had differed menu for each dinner and breakfast with never duplicate. The foods were delicious and unforgettable. We felt the heart cooking of Gala and her Husband-Fedor. We highly recommend Baikalsky Plyos to everyone who is planning to Olkhan. We are sure it can provide an attractive and unforgettable memory to you.

The hotel is located in 300 meters from Lake Baikal. In the center of settlement Listvjanka, in Krestovaya fall. Nearby there is Nikolskaya church, a museum " a Retro park ", a chanson-shelter, the center of rideable sports, hire of Horses and the center of productive leisure. Also you can reach on foot the central area, the Baikal museum.The hotel will consist of three independent constructions:1. Hostel with three three-local rooms (in it a warm toilet, heating, hot cold water, a shower - separately costing in the street)2. Apartments for 2 people (numbers are on 3 floor of a cottage, kitchen the general toilet and a shower)3. Hotel with three 2х local numbers (are completely arranged well, in each number of souls, the TV)In a court yard of hotel (хостела) you can take advantage of the Mangal, a little table under a bird cherry, free parking place.

Reviewed By Axel5171Such a lovely, peaceful place. Slept so well as there was no noise whatsoever. Owner very welcoming and helpful and room lovely and warm and comfortable. Walking distance (about 1 mile) to Listvyanka centre with bars and restaurants on the side of the lake. Absolutely loved this place!

Our house on the south of the lake Baikal is made in best Russian traditions and provides true Siberian hospitality. Staying at our place may be a part of your trip to lake Baikal or an route to Mongolia, China or Far East cause it's near Trans Siberian stations.
Hidden treasure at the Baikal
Reviewed By PhilcloothFjodor's and Nataly's guest house is a special place. They built it themselves with a great eye for details and put a lot of heart in caring about their visitors. The Banja Russka Sauna hut is an extra treat that you shouldn't miss. The guest house is located in close proximity to the lake and there is a great ski ressort nearby. Nataly will help you with whatever plans you have. Highly recommended!

Cheap and practical
Reviewed By JdaC0staLike many other guests, we booked this place due to its good reviews and close location to the train station. Our room was very clean, as well as the kitchen and other communal areas. Staff was nice and helpful. There is an handy supermarket within 5 minutes walking distance and public transports are also available very closeby. Getting to town centre could take 10 minutes.

Welcome to our cozy hotel "7 dorog". We hope you will find a perfect room for yourself. We have 20 rooms cost from 2500 to 5000 roubles per night. Rooms have all neccerary for your comfortable stay. Each room is equiped with bathroom, towels, hair dryer, modern furniture, comfortable, cable TV, Wi-Fi internet connection, mini-bar for extra charge. Laundry services are available for our guests. Breakfast is included into the room rate. Our hotel is connected to the Restaurant "Dakar" of Russian-European cuisine. And we have all necessary to organize confernces and meetings.

Reviewed By SekundeI booked this hotel because of the good average reviews. However, my own experiences were the worst I have ever had. The first thing I noticed was a very strong smell of chlorine in the bathroom. When this smell slowly vanished I realised the reason for using so much chlorine: the bathroom smelled terribly after canalisation. The cleaning was below average, was made just every third day. The breakfast was poor. Although advertised as a buffet, the choices were very limited and mostly carbs. There was an option to get a warm meal such as omelet though in addition to the "buffet". Although I booked this hotel for my entire stay, I left after the first terrible four days and eventually moved into another hotel of much better quality and more central location at a comparable cost. The only positive thing about 7 dorog was that I got my refund frictionless.

Reviewed By Yap YStayed here for 3 nights while on tour to Lake Baikal. Stayed in a shared facility room (shower was in a different building), as well as en-suite room (big bathroom). Breakfast and dinner were good! Hot and cold water available (FOC) at the restaurant. Staff were very friendly and able to communicate in English. WiFi weak on upper floors but was told they were going to rectify that. Recommend staying there. Enjoyed my short stay.

The comfortable guest house "Red Owl " is located at the foothills of the mountain Mangutay in the dry riverbed , on the shore of the Lake Baikal . It is wonderful energy powerful and beauty place. Our wood cottage there are 5 bedrooms , large dining room , fireplace room, kitchen , shower, two toilets . Its comfortably to rest here by company no more than 20 people.

Reviewed By pandared_sA great hotel for a winter holiday with your significant other or family. A 10 minute walk from the ski area. Loved the clean rooms with modern design, beautiful views from the window. Very polite and friendly staff. Breakfast is included in the price. Lots of vegetables, tasty porridge and traditional Russian cutlets and cottage cheese casseroles. A big plus is the special lockers for gear with a dryer.
