Wo sich Arlberg und Allgäu, der Bregenzerwald und das Lechtal treffen, auf dem Hochtannbergpass, in 1675 Metern Seehöhe, steht seit 300 Jahren einsam ein Haus – der Adler. Viele Jahre später wurden die Lifte und Bergbahnen rund ums Hotel in Warth gebaut. Der Adler hat sich von der Berghütte zu einem kleinen Hotel gemausert. Doch nicht Hotelsterne, Restauranthauben oder Luxus prägen das Bild unseres Hotels, es ist der ureigene Charakter der kleinen Berghütte und seiner Bewohner. Der Charme der alten Gaststube, die Verbindung von alter Bausubstanz mit moderner Architektur, Kaminfeuer und Solarenergie, Natursteinmauer und kostenlosem WLAN, Suiten, pfiffige Apartments für die Familie und funktionelle Hotelzimmer. Dazu ein Top-Angebot aus Küche und Keller, das viele Stammgäste wiederkehren lässt. Wir sind kein Wellnesshotel und haben eine riesige Saunalandschaft die ihresgleichen sucht. Urlaub im Adler - passend für Viele, eher nicht für Jeden.
Mountain Retreat
Reviewed By Deborah CThis is purely a hotel for the Ski season and for families, however, it was summer and we were only two. The hotel room was basic, but very clean and large enough for two persons: it was in fact a family room! Unfortunately, as it was summer, the restaurant was not open along with the Spa; the latter could be opened for use between the hours of 14.00-17.00 - not a lot of use if you are walking all day. It would have been lovely to soak away the hours of walking when we returned to the hotel, but alas, that wasn't to be. The breakfast was fine and the staff friendly. If you are a family, there is lots to do for the kiddies on the lower level, which is a bonus. The hotel is situated in an excellent place for hiking, being midst of hills, mountains and lakes. Beautiful and many long hiking opportunities. Needless to say, there's a ski lift on about every mountain you can see. The cost of the room was brilliant for what we got.

Lisbeth and Franz do everything to make your stay unforgettable in every sense. Theh serve a fantastic breakfast with a lot of award winning specialities they make themselves. Lisbeth also cooks dinner time to time and has an unbeliveable energy. The rooms are really nice and comfortable. Very very very much recommended! Thank you Lisbeth and Franz!

A friendly family run hotel, newly renovated. Nice for skiing in winter and hiking in summer. Enjoy a fantastic breakfast with bread from our own bakery, milk for the local farm. Our buffet has something for every one. The best way to start the day.
Super Staff
Reviewed By loslynchWe didn't stay in the Walserberg Hotel; we were at the Pure Resort, but we had a fabulous take away pizza and beer from the Walserberg. Utterly delicious. I wanted also to say how helpful the staff were to us, particularly Thomas. Our transfer vehicle had a flat battery and the Pure Resort was totally useless. In desperation we rang around other hotels for help and Thomas stepped up to help us out. He made a load of phone calls and managed to source a taxi for us all at 05.30 in the morning. An absolute hero. We will defo be staying at the Walserberg Hotel the next time we are in lovely Warth. Thank you Thomas.

Lovely place with a couple of buts ....
Reviewed By loslynchLovely accommodation and very easy ski in/out with 200m downslope to a short gondola. Apartment was very comfortable; though a little tricky to regulate the temperature. Fantastic breakfast in lovely surroundings. Staff very friendly though we did feel a little let down when we had an issue with our transfer vehicle - a flat battery and the hotel didn't help us at all. We ended by speaking to the Walserberg Hotel who sorted us out. About disappointing considering the "luxury" tag the Resort has. A couple of other things to consider when booking. It's at the edge of the Arlberg ski-area so if you want to go further afield than the relatively small Warth area, it takes a little time to get across to the Lech-Zurs-St Anton and the lifts in Warth shut 30mins to in hour earlier than the lifts elsewhere. That limits your ability to access other areas and get back in time. The sauna / steam room is nude only. Maybe that's quite normal in Germany/Austria, but it wasn't what we are used to so it limited our use of the facilities a little. We finally got into it, but it may be a consideration for anyone of a more modest outlook! The local Spar is pretty light on fresh produce so if you plan on catering you will probably want to stock up a little on route. Catering facilities in the apartment were a little limited as well though Julian on reception offered to get us anything we needed.

Very friendly staff and a superb location
Reviewed By wendy sThis is an excellent hotel directly opposite the ski lift. The food was very good, with a large breakfast buffet and 6 course evening meal. Lunch and afternoon tea were also provided, as well as free soft drinks/tea/coffee until 6pm. I would have liked more options for fresh juice in the morning and the soups were usually too salty. I would have also liked to have potato salad in the evening salad bar. However overall the food was very good and varied. We had a lovely room with a balcony and very comfortable bed. On 3 evenings there was live music, which we found too loud and stopped us using the bar. There was another bar by the ski-lift, but apres ski is limited. We did use the pool most days after ski-ing and enjoyed the outdoor pool, the sauna and the waves. Bathrobes and slippers were provided. Warth is on the edge of a massive ski area and the ski-ing was superb. Strongly recommended for a family ski trip.

Architektur Appartements in Warth am Arlberg. Ausgezeichnet mit dem Staatspreis für Architektur liegt das ruhig gelegene Haus an einem Südhang fast in Alleinlage. Gäste mit Hunden sind auch herzliche Willkommen.
10 stars! Incredible views, incredible location, and incredible hospitality
Reviewed By Joel AThis is without a doubt one of the best views we've had at any guest apartment, and we've stayed in many of them all around the world. The apartments overlook a mountain range, a forested valley with a river at the bottom, and there are high peaks and rock fins rising up all around. In the autumn and winter there are waterfalls down the mountains and you can hear them at night. There are hikes that you can go on straight from the door, but they also give you a Warth card that you can use to go up the lift and hike to the top of the mountain. Ute and Ewa's hospitality is terrific, with great communication, super personable, and very helpful. Check-in and check-out is incredibly easy. Also, my wife and I are digital nomads, so good wifi is super important for us. The wifi was fast and reliable throughout, and there was even 4G cell coverage at the apartments. It was terrific to be able to work on the balcony with an amazing view––makes the work go much more quickly! All in all, this is one of the best places we've stayed and we absolutely can't wait to come back again! If we could give it 10 stars we would! Highly recommend.

A Piece of Alpine Perfection
Reviewed By WhiteGriffonWe stayed at this lovely chalet at the end of March/beginning of April. We were generously upgraded to a most beautiful, two bedroom, two bathroom apartment with wrap-around balconies offering staggering views of the mountains. It was of the highest standard, combining modernity with tradition and was elegant and luxurious. There is a large and stylish communal living area, where guests may help themselves to refreshments or put a log or two on the wood burning stove and kick back in comfort. The breakfast was outstanding with an array of choices. Even the butter was hand churned. Supper was on offer for several nights of the week and was delicious; or, if you want to stay in your apartment, food can be sent up, including the delivery of mouth-watering pizzas or apple strudel. The wellness area was sublime with two saunas, a steam room and a large relaxation area with enormous day beds. There are restaurants and cafes in Warth and a small shop too with larger supermarkets a 10-15 minute drive away. Good to stock up en route. The drive from Zurich was straightforward at around 2 hours 20 minutes. Innsbruck is even closer at around 1 hour 30mins. Access to the excellent and varied skiing is very easy; it’s literally just a few minutes to walk to the lift or the kind owners will drive you up. We had enough fun exploring not to ski across to Lech, though several skiers had come over to Warth to enjoy the quieter slopes. Warth lived up to its reputation as the snowiest resort in the Alps with plenty of snowfall through the week. The slopes were blissfully quiet with no lift queues. We enjoyed the tranquility and splendour of both Warth and the Lux Alp Chalet, which manages to be both exclusive and friendly, thanks to the delightful family who run it and for whom nothing is too much trouble. Highly recommended and we are looking forward to another visit.

Reviewed By Francine MRecently renovated and upgraded but still with the same friendly charm as before. Very warm and cosy inside with a lift to all floors (handy with your luggage). Lovely underground parking to keep the car safe and snow free. Relaxing pool and spa area. They offer a vast selection of food at breakfast and home made cakes for when you come in from the piste. It is really close to the Dorfbahn ski lift (2 min walk) and there are plenty of restaurants within walking distance. They welcome you with open arms and a smile. We can totally relax and unwind at the Alpin.
