Reviewed By 684anatpWe loved this hotel! The atmosphere is home-like, and yet you're in a hotel and taken care of. We had a little apartment that was so nice and comfy, and cozy. It is the first hotel I've been to that had enough hooks in the bathroom - which I love! I also liked that they are environmentally friendly, opting not to use the little bottles, soaps etc, nor plastic cups.We got to talk to the owners as well, who are super friendly, helpful and want to make you feel at home. We ate dinner at the hotel restaurant, and it was especially good. Our only complaint, was that the Wifi was weak - something they are aware of and are working on. Note also that they are not in the center of town - which to us didn't make a difference. In short - a fantastic find! Would definitely stay there again when in the area!!

Reviewed By ltcterry2006I needed a place to stay for two nights while flying at the world famous glider school here in town. One of the instructors recommended Land Hotel Gabriele. I was not disappointed. Neat. Clean. Friendly people. Comfortable bed (single room). My only complaint is they have gone to online registration/checkin instead of a real reception desk. Some of the emails went to spam. The helpful person in the restaurant got things straightened out. I would happily stay here again, even if I were in the Bavarian Alps as a typical tourist instead of being a grubby glider pilot at the end of the day. As I write this, I'm heading to bed on my last night, so hope nothing changes to change my opinion! I've eaten dinner twice and breakfast once so far. I'll write a separate review of the restaurant.

The Casa Shania rents two apartments to holiday guests. Centrally located in the Achental valley and close to Lake Chiemsee, it is an ideal base for activities in Chiemgau / Bavaria. Cozy furnished apartments with balcony and panoramic views of the surrounding mountains.

Reviewed By jenshJ5978AMEine wundervolle Woche in der Wohnung "Moments" verbracht. Hier wurde von den Vermietern Petra & Thomas wirklich an alles gedacht, um sich rundum wohl zu fühlen. Eine sehr stilvoll eingerichtete und vor allem sehr saubere Wohnung, bestens ausgestattet auch mit sämtlichen Küchenutensilien läßt einen heimisch fühlen. Äußerst bequeme Betten und auch das durchaus genügend große "Schrankbad" sorgen für einen angenehmen Aufenthalt. Der Blick von den Balkonen ins Achental Richtung Schleching ist grandios, die Lage der Wohnung ist perfekt, nicht weit gelegen zur Ortsmitte mit guten Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Zu Fuß zum Bäcker sind es gerade mal ca. 5min. Nicht zu vergessen sei hier die Freundlichkeit und Hilfsbereitschaft der Vermieter mit vielen wertvollen Tipps ... Weiter so!! ???

Reviewed By Ch7895Sehr schönes Appartement in zentraler Ortslage. An der Ausstattung hat es uns an nichts gefehlt. Die Räume sind sehr grosszügig gehalten und hochwertig ausgestattet. Das Auto sowie die Fahrräder konnten wir in einer Doppelgarage unterstellen. Durch die Lage hat das Appartement leider keine Aussicht, auch hat der Wohn-/Essbereich leider nur ein Fenster bzw. Terrassentür und ist dadurch etwas dunkel. Die kleine Terrasse mit Abendsonne teilen sich zwei Appartements - wir hatten das Glück, dass sie von den anderen Gästen nicht genutzt wurde und konnten sie häufig alleine genießen. In direkter Nachbarschaft finden sich Supermarkt, Getränkehändler, Eisdiele und ein gutes Café - Bar - Bistro. Familie Drexl ist sehr freundlich und bemüht sich sehr um das Wohlergehen der Gäste. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Reviewed By Sylvia RSehr netter Empfang, tolles und sehr sauberes Zimmer, super leckeres und reichhaltiges Frühstück... Durch die recht zentrale Lage, ist man in kurzer Zeit an vielen Sehenswürdigkeiten. Nach Österreich sind es nur knappe 20 Minuten(bitte an die Maut denken). Mit der Gästekarte die man von der Vermieterin erhält, hat man einige Vergünstigungen,sowie teilweise freie Fahrt mit dem Bus. Diese liebevoll geführte Pension ist definitiv sehr zu empfehlen.
