Great view, lunch and hospitality
Reviewed By Stefan PBeautiful remote spot on the coast with a great view. The fresh made chicken, potato and vegetable Tajines was worth the wait, the host is a great cook. Definitely recommended if you are planning a day trip from Essaouira.

There's a lot of care taken in making this welcoming and unique. Sara and her wonderful Moroccan team are chatty and friendly. Sara helped with special requests prior to arriving, she organised taxis from the airport, the breakfast is copious and great and they were incredibly helpful with any queries or requests. Dinner was also delicious on the one night I had it. Sidi Kaouki is a very special place. It has great vibes. It's very small and isolated with a huge beach and relaxed low-key eating places. It's an incredible get-away. I stayed for a week writing on my own.

If you are looking for a bucolic image of Morocco, "casa al vent" could be something for you. Among argan trees, where cars are replaced by donkeys, camels or horses and neon lights by the starry sky, you can relax and enjoy from your terrace. Our rooms are defined in 3 words: clean, simple and calm. There is a hot shower and you have the possibility to use a shared kitchen. The roof deck and the garden terrace are a good opportunity to relax or to share experiences with other travellers. With sea and mountain views, 4 minute walk from the beach, "casa al vent" is a homely and neat space with a comfy atmosphere. You can have an ample breakfast (natural juice, salad, omelette with vegetables, crepes, coffee....) in our 'cafe al vent' in front of the beach with amazing views! We believe in creative cuisine adapted to the environment.'Cafe Al vent' wants to offer meals nearby the senses, where the ingredients are part of the daily life and landscape of Sidi Kaouki. Fish and seafood come from local fishermen who still work in a traditional and sustainable way. Also our meat comes from chicken, goats and cows grazing freely in this lovely area, and vegetables are chosen according to the season, always prioritizing the closer ones. Besides you can eat paella with lobster in front of the ocean, or some tagine of Sidi Kaouki's goat, always accompanied by good music.

Reviewed By Victor ZFantastic Place! Beautiful area. Very relaxing and calm. Location is absolutely perfect, next to beach, ocean, few small shops. Nice roof terrace. Fire place in the garden. Owner - Victor is very good men and will get you any help, advice you need. Breakfast is really good enjoyed on terrace overlooking ocean. Food is available on menu all day long till late. Very good prices and very tasty. Bus stop 100m down the road. Bus fare is only 7 dirham. Takes 45 - 60 mins to Essaouira. Not every bus go to airport so keep that in mind. Taxi from airport takes about 15-20 minutes and should cost 70 - 150 dirham. Remember to haggle your taxi ride. Rooms are proper Moroccan style, comfortable and clean. I will definitely stay again! One of best places I stayed in!

The hotel has nine rooms (bungalows) in addition to a beautiful penthouse overlooking the sea Each room has some special details: Own shower with hot water, washbasin and toilet ) VILLA SOLEIL is a mix between modern and old Arab & Amazigh design. At the top of Villa Soleil the most beautiful part is the penthouse, comprising a Moroccan lounge two bedrooms with double bed, bathroom with a bed and shower with a specious balcony overlooking the sea . in the hotel you find a garden with palm trees and some few small terrace where the breakfast is served ,around the hotel some amazing spots where you can have a fun and collect energy to start an amazing day. Reviewed By g0ksHotel has a nice, simple decoration. It was clean, owner was friendly and helpful. Hotel location is close to the beach and restaurants. We visited Sidi Kaouki in October 2018. There were not much people but it's nice to have a peaceful holiday.

Reviewed By Maren MWe love this place very much and we are coming back for sure. The rooms are lovely made. The terass is best place to chill in town and watching the ocean. The host and the people around are lovely and very helpfull. Th food is amazing and I would always recommend a tagine!

The worst I've ever had
Reviewed By 730anettjWe arrived at Ayt Karoum late in the evening. The staff informed us that our room was not available and that they had an alternative apartment for us which they promised will be beautiful. Unfortunately the opposite was the case: The apartment smelled like fish, it was dirty, there was no shower, there was no toilet paper, no towels, stains on the sheets and there was no mattress on the bed - at least it felt like it. The list could go on. Don't book Ayt Karoum, they will rip you off.

Staff on site can arrange a shuttle service. At the hostel, all rooms have a wardrobe and private terraces. A continental breakfast is available each morning at the property. The area is popular for cycling, and car hire is available at Dar Iziki. Speaking Arabic and English at the reception, staff are ready to help around the clock. Essaouira is 18 km from the accommodation. The nearest airport is Essaouira Mogador Airport, 11 km from Dar Iziki. We speak your language!

Extremist, reactionary and unprofessional hostel
Reviewed By _Alae-Eddine-ELAfter confirming with the manager of the hostel for a mixed group of 8 people which 6 are girls for two nights, while I specified that we are just friends and not married couples, and I offered to give us separate rooms the gentleman canceled the reservation at the last minute saying that the new policy of the hostel requires to accept only families and they do not accept singles anymore , On top of that he gave us other contacts saying that he had already confirmed with them the availability so that we could book with them, but it was all lies because all the hostels that gave us were full and finally he blocked my phone number. A real problem of professionalism and trust without forgetting the extremist and reactionary mentality of the managers. Not to be recommended.
