Reviewed By shugdoll52A beautiful old, rambling property 200 metres from the Rhein. Staff were very welcoming and the room was large and comfortable. Parking was available at no extra cost. Dinner in the restaurant was particularly special and breakfast was good too. Loved it!

Reviewed By 525billrStaying at the Rheinhotel Lamm was an unexpected surprise. The owner welcomed us with sincere and helpful advice. We had a superb dinner with excellent service. The room was quiet, comfort, clean, and we’ll provisioned. Spentbthe evening drinking some excellent wine, eating a superb dinner, and watching the river traffic on the Rhein. Definitely a place to return to.

They do love ducks, their main decos in the lobby or reastaurant are ducks! Cute! the location is some steps from the main square or the harbour, or the street with lots of wine restaurants Suggest to stay here and make trips on the Rhine from here!

Such a thrill to actually get there after so many “fits and starts” with closures, openings, more closures and re-openings. My partner and I have stayed at the Central Hotel on numerous occasions, sometimes with friends, and have always been greeted warmly by hosts Klemens & Sabine Stiebler and manager Andrea Henning. We’re always happy with the ever immaculate premises, quiet and comfortable rooms and the gastronomic adventures that are served, especially at dinner, in the Restaurant STIEBLER|S. All Covid-19 protocols/restrictions followed to the letter. So many attractions to explore and do in the Rheinland area, especially after such a generous array at breakfast. Looking very forward to many more stays at the Central Hotel! Congratulations once again for everything that you do!!!!

Reviewed By WayneH_in-USAThe meal was fantastic. It was Spargel season and the kitchen really knew how to prepare it. I was a bit late, and officially the restaurant was closed. I asked if they were willing to serve the Spargel which was advertised on their board. They agreed to seat me and served me outside. The table provided a wonderful, unobstructed view of the church. A few steps away was the Gutenberg Museum housing 2 of Gutenberg's Bibles (B42) . The restaurant, dated back to 1594 and was connected with the oldest hotel in town, the Hotel Schwan. The owners / hosts were incredibly friendly, as were the servers. The Spargel was perfectly prepared—tender and tasty. If you are visiting the Mainz city center, I highly recommend you make a stop at the Hotel Schwan and AltDeutsche Weinstube.

Reviewed By ColdAvisWe only stayed for one night and enjoyed our stay. It is an older style hotel and yet very client with friendly service. There’s quite a few stairs before reaching the elevators to be mindful of if you have heavy luggage or struggle with stairs. Breakfast is great. The hotel is in a pedestrian area so if you arrive by car you might need to be a bit patient to drop off your luggage before parking about two blocks away. Location of the hotel is just perfect for exploring the town centre

Reviewed By discuttWe stayed at this hotel over the New Year. It is very quaint and typically German in style and in a very central position in the town and Railway station. The staff were very friendly and helpful. There was a good selection of hot and cold dishes to choose from the breakfast buffet. The only draw-back there was no bar. During the Winter months the outside bar is not open, so it would be nice to have a place to sit and drink, instead of having to stay in your room. The room we had was quite small with a tiny window, but it was very clean, but I understand there were bigger rooms in the hotel.

Truly wonderful family run hotel
Reviewed By tgodey46My elderly father, sister and I were on a river cruise docked in Rudesheim when my father had a medical emergency and had to be rushed to the local hospital. The cruise director booked a room at the Hotel Rose and we will be forever grateful she did! The hotel is situated on a quiet street close to the hospital and to the action in Rudesheim. The hotel staff is beyond accommodating and friendly and have bent over backwards to help us. We have been taking everything day by day and they have accommodated all of our needs - letting us have the room on less than 24 hours notice, etc. The hotel is very clean, the breakfast bar is plentiful with a variety of food and I cannot say enough about the staff. The hotel is a short walk to the attractions in Rudesheim which we have been able to take advantage of while we are here. I cannot recommend Hotel Rose enough!!

Right in the heart of historical Rudesheim

You have to drive through narrow streets and if you are driving with loud motorcycle (like we) you are little embarassed when driving by restaurant terraces. Hotel has many parking places right infront of the building. We were received by serving us nice glass of cinnamon white wine - it was great and very nice gesture. Everything is within walking distance from the hotel. You wanna try cable car to reach the mountain peak and the statue - the trip is very nice and it goes over wine plantation in 10m height. And it is only 9€ there and back. All the restaurants are also within walking distance. Grosery store is 500m away. Staff was very friendly and professional. The room was very small, allmost like closet, but it was more than enough for us. We did not try to breakfast, but what I saw I can say it was good. Thank you for pleasant stay!

Our room looked out over the river, there was free off-street parking, comfortable room with a nice shower and a good continental breakfast! The hotel itself is very nice, and the staff is extremely friendly! We highly recommend this place!
