Reviewed By UrosMDVIt is a perfect place to stay for a family of five if you are fond of Katschberg ski arena. It is close to ski slopes with a car and the grocery shop is 300m away. Close enough for a strole. The rooms are clean and homelike. The host is super nice and the view is spectacular. Private parking is on site. Highly recomended by us. Great value for a price.

Reviewed By 434muhammetaI can say shortly, everything is perfect in this hotel. I suggest this hotel to people who have children. Thanks to Bernhard Kandera in sauna for excellent therapy. He is funny guy. Swimming pool, kids club, bar, outside, inside, meals and breakfast perfect.

Horror hotel ‘Doe het niet!’
Reviewed By mauricev571Het pension is oud, vervallen en typisch Oostenrijks. Niets mis mee zou je zeggen als het schoon is… Maar helaas vooral bij dat laatste zit het probleem. Bij binnenkomst werden we ontvangen door de eigenaar. De geur van ‘hier moet je eigenlijk niet willen slapen’ kwam direct door. En de eigenaar die wss net zijn laatste glaasje drank had genuttigd gaf aan een fout te hebben gemaakt. Geen 2x 4-persoonskamer maar een 3 en een 5-persoonskamer. 2 trappen op en op naar de bovenste verdieping waar de verwarming loeide en op het oog 2 oude maar gezellige kamers zijn gesitueerd. Bij een eerste inspectie viel direct op dat de kamers in erbarmelijke staat zijn. De muren / plafonds zitten vol plekken, de keuken is kapot, de televisie springt constant aan (dus de stroom is niet goed geschakeld), de gordijnen hangen los of blijken niet aanwezig te zijn en zo kan ik nog even doorgaan. Maar goed als het dan schoon is kijk je hier wel doorheen, maar toen kwam de grootste teleurstelling: de kamers zijn smeriger dan de kamer van mijn tienerzoon die hij zelf moet onderhouden en al een jaartje niet gepoetst heeft: - overal lagen haren. Op de grond maar vooral op het bed. En dan echt op alle bedden. Lange zwarte haren. Dit waren geen schone lakens. - Op het kussen zat een bruine vlek (mascara uit vervlogen tijden) en de kussensloop lag er wss al enkele weken op. - op het bed lag onder het deken een vieze grote dode vlieg. - de glazen in de keuken hebben het laatste sopje gehad in 1998. - onder het bed lag een gebruikt doekje. Te ranzig. Het was eigenlijk te vies om in te slapen. Helaas was de eigenaar ‘s avonds weg zodat je wel moet gaan slapen. Omdat je moe bent hebben we dit gedaan maar de kleren aan. Gelukkig werden we om 6.00u ‘s nachts gewekt door de kerk die naast het hotel ligt en een keer of 100 sloeg. Dit doen we nooit meer en raden we iedereen af. De plaatselijke jeugdherberg is wss een beter alternatief dan dit horror penslon.

Reviewed By timkF1562TSStayed here for one night in the family room. Room was spacious. Hotel has an old feel to it. There is a lift which was good as the family room was on the top floor. The hotel has parking and staff are friendly. Had evening meal and breakfast which we enjoyed. Wifi in hotel is not great. Rennweg is a small village with nice views and hotel is close to the motorway,which is why we stayed here.

Reviewed By kittymitchWe stayed here twice in the past month. Can I say it’s a great place to stay . Warm greetings and the rooms are gorgeous. They’ve just been renovated and the beds are very comfortable too . Breakfast was good also. Definitely worth staying here .

Reviewed By Sightsee65731672349This maybe used to be a good hotel. Now is just a maybe 2 star hotel, food is awful, they are recycling stuff from two days before. Rooms are older, bunk beds are metal like from the hospitals, cards for opening arent working.. Hotel needs renovation, or remove stars and lower price. Spa area and pool is nice.

Reviewed By Davy DAs a family with 2 children we had a wonderful experience. The facilities for children are amazing. They had 4 children’s playrooms next to the restaurant so you could eat your diner peacefully while your impatient ones were playing untill they dropped. Almost every day there was something special for them. The wellness facilities are also wonderful. From the indoor swimming pool, the bubble bath, the salt pool to the sauna’s: everything’s well organised. All wellness arrangements (including massages) were also available for children. This family hotel brings you straight to the Christmas living room you saw on tv in the 80’s. The place is packed with hundreds of Teddy bears, family pictures and kitsch figurines. The lobby and the rooms make you become a part of the charming, quaint Traditional family. I would ‘t let them decorate my house though. :) Food was decent. I had no complaints. My children (who are horrible eaters) got to eat every day. Menu’s are also pretty oldschool... but that made it nostalgic I guess. If they would read this: I would recommend to add the evening salad bar to the lunch buffet too. 2 hot meals in one day can get a bit too much. :) But if there’s anything I would recommend this hotel for it’s the wonderful staff. The people at Hinteregger do make you feel welcome. From the receptionists to the ever helpful bar guy and the wonderful people in the restaurant: they were wonderful!!

Nice for family with kids
Reviewed By Dijana1206Bed is comfortable, apartment was very clean and full of light. Very practical with kids because is 50m from ski track. Swimming pool is very clean and warm water. Sauna is only thing that missing! Ski depo is big and nice. Parking garage is just under apartment. On reception is some basic apartment food staff that you can buy on very reasonable prices. Kitchen is very well equipped. Nespresso coffee machine in the room, tea kettle, and toaster. Bread service is very nice and good value.
