Hotel was ok, but very noisy in room during the night. Noise comes from installation inside and it’s very disturbing for sleeping. Also they start working an adaptation at 7am, that’s not ok for customers.

Clean, great location, yummy breakfast, but wifi was a bit slow. Employees are super friendly! Super close to where the ferry arrives. Lots of rooms that overlook the port. Close to the beach but you need a car. Stayed for two nights and enjoyed!!

Lu' Hotel Maladroxia

Lu' Hotel Maladroxia is a newly refurbished building located a few metres from the beach and within a very short distance from the old Phoenician town of Sant'Antioco, on the homonym Island. The promenade of the small town and its city centre is animated by cafes, restaurants and characteristic shops enriching the natural scenery of a beautiful sandy beach and an outstanding crystal clear sea.

A little gem.

I really want to keep this one to myself but the hotel staff deserve the praise. This is a smart, clean, modernised hotel in a lovely small village away from it all. We were greeted by helpful, English speaking staff (although I wanted to practice my Italian). The receptionist gave us a free upgrade to a sea facing room with a balcony. He even escorted us to the room. The room was fresh, spotlessly clean and furnished in a modern 'Ikea' style. Although the hotel is a little back from the beach it is only a few minutes walk down a slight hill to a beautiful sandy beach in a bay setting. This beach should suit families with young children. The restaurant served good Italian foods and the staff were more than willing and capable of quickly providing an alternative 'primo piatto' for a daft old Englishman who didn't quite grasp the translation. (ancora grazie mille) The restaurant also served beautiful local wines. The hotels strict adherence to the Covid rules did make the breakfast service a little tedious but that should have all ended by now. I will never forget those quiet moments, on our balcony, watching the sunrise over the water, with my early morning coffee. Perhaps one day I'll get back there.....

Muma Hostel

Living on the seafront Because staying here is living on the seafront: it’s waking up to the cry of the seagulls announcing the arrival of the boats with the freshest fish, sharing the reception with the Museum of the Sea and Shipwrights, a little jewel that tells the story of the aquatic flora and fauna of the lagoon and preserves the memory of the naval carpentry of Sant’Antioco. It’s having the island at hand, with its beaches, cliffs, the humanity of its seafarers, the great history of its Phoenician origins, the rituals in costume dedicated to the namesake saint martyr and patron saint of all Sardinia.

Very clean and cozy!

The hosts are very nice and friendly, there is also a museum within the hostel. The breakfast is very good too! Highly recommended!

Hotel Solki

The hotel Solki is a family run business and our peculiar name, Solki, is not other than the Punic name of the ancient town of Sant'Antioco. This hotel was built in 2000, in an area so called "Is Solus" in ancient time, a swampy land which was reclaimed by romans who built up a fountain that it is still visible in the main town square "Piazza Italia". More recently, about 40 years ago, there was a train station around here and the train passed by, right in the middle of where our car parking is now situated! These are only a few hints of a the many stories our island has to tell and it would be a great pleasure for us to guide trough this journey, in order to become for you an unforgettable mem0ry.

Romantic hotel, which need some functional corrections

Reviewed By Nina2399

Pros: The interior design of the room is beautiful. The view is great, even if not on the seaside. We got our room with a nice balcony. Cons: On the check-in was an older man, who didn't speak english and we didn't get all the information we needed. The parking spaces are in front of the hotel, so they are not secure as we wished. The guide book was outdated, so the passwords for the Wi-Fi were wrong, as a result we stayed without connectivity and it made no sense to go and ask the right password, because we stayed only one night. As we came into the room the heating was fully on, so we had to turn it off. Later it was impossible to turn the heating back on. No blankets in the room, you cover yourself with a sheet and coverlet over it. It was a cold night. The water in the shower was only lukewarm and the sink was clogged. The breakfast is poor.

The house has been restructured in conformity with the precepts of bio-building. From the window you can see the central square dai Baruffi with its huge ficus trees, where old people and children sit together spending their time in quiet.
