Reviewed By 921adriankThe hotel is dated and it looks sad and abandoned. Breakfast is of poor quality. Swimming pool looks old and does not look appealing. Rooms are small and dated. The location of the hotel is right in the center of the city. It is an area that is full of shady characters. It looks scary. Everything near the hotel closes early. Hotel does not look nice as it looks in the pictures. In general, I can’t recommend this hotel. I can’t recommend Neiva either.

Excelent hotel
Reviewed By Javier PWe spent two nights there, and we have to say that was a very pleasant experience. Mainly the room was in perfect conditions and the hotel service was pretty good. The only suggestion is that the hotel should have a restaurant opens for the nights, because there are few choices in the city at that hours.

Reviewed By rfs0723Really friendly staff at the hotel. Rooms a bit dated but clean and bright. Breakfast included and nicely done. The area surrounding the hotel does not have a lot to offer, but Neiva is a very small town. Good place to base if you’re going to visit the Tatacoa.

Clean rooms with a good breakfast and a good based for visiting the Tatacoa desert (one hour away) or San Agustín (if you go South towards Popayan). Muchas gracias ☺

Reviewed By sprite75we first knew we had a problem when, at 9pm in the bus station, not a single taxi would take us to the address for the hotel we'd booked online. with a bit more conversation, we realised we'd booked a place in Neiva--on the coast. and, as it turns out, most hotels in Nieva won't take foreigners. El Poblado was our 5th or 6th or 7th attempt to find a place to stay that wouldn't break the bank. room clean, bed comfortable, shower strong (no hot water, but normal for this area). only problem was that front (cheaper) rooms are alongside an alley which gets noise until about midnight. the staff were fantastic. they helped us book our next 2 nights' accommodation, had advice on transport, and kept our bags overnight while we went to visit the desert. we were changing our plans quite often, but they were very patient.
