Room was sparkling clean and comfortable.Always a pleasure staying here. One of the best accommodations in Naran. * one thing that i can suggest you kindly add more items in room service menu*

One of the best places to stay in Naran with excellent views
Reviewed By MJawadSWe were on a family holidays. Four adults so we booked the presidential suite. It was on the top (4th) floor. It had two independent double bedrooms with baths and a lounge cum dinning area. The suite was modern and neat and clean. Bathrooms were also decent and clean. Although hot water was not always available. Breakfast and food at the restaurant was nice. Our main reason for selection of this place was that it was away from the main Naran bazar and it had an excellent mountain and river view. The only down side of the suite was that at night it becomes very cold even with the blankets.

Dissappointment on the standard
Reviewed By 960adnanqI recently travelled to Naran and i want to share an experience of mine where i felt our stay was a complete rip off. My travel dates were sept 5th to sept 8th. We were returning from fairy meadows and had planned to spend some quality time in Naran at a resort like location. We knew we would have been tired due to the excursions of trekking so we were willing to pay more if the hotel was luxurious. We had booked 5 rooms at Arcadian, Peridot which is located at Jheel road naran. Before i booked the rooms, i called up the number on their website and spoke to Haider, at their islamabad office. He assured me that the quality and standards of the arcadian resorts were same as their other branches in Kaghan valley as we earlier wanted rooms at khanian, arcadian riverside but they werent available. On arriving, arcadian peridot was nothing like we expected. The rooms had broken doors, some doors of the washrooms did not even close, the furnishings and interiors were very much average. We paid almost double the price per room compared to any average hotel in naran and we were expecting exactly and only what was shown on their website, i.e. rooms with wooden interiors and exquite furnishings. The rooms didnt even have dressing tables or mirrors and my 75 year old grand parents had to keep their bags on the floor. I found out after inquiry from staff that the actual Peridot Naran is under construction on the jheel road and this is just something temporary. This was a big dissapointment majorly because we paid for something extraordinary. The website is also misleading as when you open the peridot tab, pictures of rooms of the riverside, khanian resort show up. Another very important point was that my cousin one night requested one of the staff members for a lift on their bike to go down the jheel road to get something. He smelled charas off the staff member and on further inquiry, our van driver confirmed that the staff was usually high on charas at night as he experienced it happening as he was with them in the quarters at times. The staff and manager shahid, although tried to be accomodating, did not compensate an ounce for the dissappointment we faced. As a group of 11 people, the least they could have done was provide us something to make us feel more welcome or less disspointed with the entire situation. Instead of this, the manager Shahid, became agitated the last day on a petty issue, so much that he became direspectful and raised his voice at my father. Also, one of the staff members commented about how we were spending so much and yet were being particular while checking our food bill. Checking the bill is our right and the staff has no right to say a 100 , 500 or 1000 rs dont matter if we are paying more than 200,000 for the stay. I say this because a small amount WAS unfairly charged. Lastly, we asked if our last breakfast which already was complimentary as per policy, could be provided at the Riverside Resort so we could enjoy their facility but even that was out right refused amongst many other requests. We ended up paying for a lunch at the riverside resort as we did want to visit the location to find out what we were missing. I called up the head office on the third day of our stay while i was returning from islamabad and spoke again to Haider, who listened to all the issues and promised to provide me contact details of upper management. I also followed up a day later but to no avail. Its been more than a week now and i have had no contact from them. All i wanted was to have a pleasant stay but these issues made me question the hospitality industry which is booming in the north. I do not recommend being a guest at the Arcadian Peridot resort as to be honest it is not at all a resort but merely a regular building with spacious rooms and a decent view. I expect a compensation from the management because the luxury rooms we were charged for at Peridot were the same price as their Riverside resort, but no where near worth the experience.

Away from the hustle and bustle of cities, the resort is located at 9200 feet with a pristine environment. It overlooks three valleys and looks up to mountains all around with a forest at one end. With open spaces all around one can lounge all day in the resort with mesmerizing views all around. It is manned by a very hospitable staff giving a homily feeling away from home.

Reviewed By Adnan PWe wanted to stay in this hotel end of June for our group of 25, but could not get a room, since there are only 20 rooms and all were booked till first week of July. We still visited the place to have late afternoon supper and to get a feel for the scenic views from this hotel that we heard about and saw on youtube. After reaching this place, we were completely taken aback by the beauty of the place, no cameras can capture the mesmerizing sceneries this location has to offer. Totally out of this world. The staff here was very helpful, they were very quick to accomodate us and arrange a supper table for us at 5:30pm in the evening in the lush green lawn overseeing the Batakundi Valley. During the middle of the arrangement it started raining and they were quick and nice enough to arrange our food in their indoor restaurant. They even warmed up some outside food we brought with us. Most importantly, their manager Jawad went out of the way to open up a room for my mother on wheelchair to use the room washroom instead of the restaurant public restroom, that was really really nice of him, hats off! Will definitely try to boook a room here a month or two ahead of time if I have to, for my next trip, as we must spend 2 nights here. Hope they add more rooms soon

Wonderful staff and management
Reviewed By Adventurer586742My husband and I stayed at the Rose Valley Hotel one night and it was a very good experience. What made this hotel unforgettable for us was the honesty and caring of their emloyees. Not knowingly I left all my documents and a decent amount of money at the hotel. About an hour after our departure, our tour guide got a message including a photo of the documents they found. They sent a car to meet us half way, so that we won’t have to drive the whole way back. Never during my long life of travel have I met with something like this. Truly amazing. Thank you VERY MUCH Rose Valley Hotel!!
