Reviewed By NimefurahiThe hotel is a pleasant place to stay for a night. The receptionist in the small reception is friendly enough to help you checking in into your room. The room are simple and a bit dark. There is no mosquito net, no safe and no fridge. The bathroom is very simple. If you use the airco, the overflow in the bathroom will flood easily during the night. The restaurant is good. During lunch they have a extended menu. In the evening it is all form that standard menu. Breakfast is simple but okay.

For me it the exceptional work of the chef, buffet breakfast and lunch here is ever refreshing; one to always look for. Broad menu, a fine mix of local and intercontinental cuisine with live cooking. The patronage is diverse and it presents them hotel as a global hub of mankind. Family friendly as well. Salute Hotel 2 Fevrier!

Reviewed By FlavellaAgree with much of the positives that have been written by other reviewers but can’t shake off the feeling that this place exists to rip people off... 10usd for a very plain gin and tonic ... breakfast entirely underwhelming so have to pay supplement to get the whiff of an egg, even a coffee refill comes at a high price .... Shame for an otherwise nice enough establishment ;-(

Reviewed By ArtemisaSFirst on must consider that Lomé, Togo, is not Europe and the european standards do not apply. This said, M'Rode is a good choice for a stay in Lomé. After 3 two weeks' stays I can say the staff makes me feel at home. The room is properly clean and the bed confortable. The location is very central and within a walking distance of two of the best international restaurants of Lomé (La Main a la Pâte and Côté Jardin).

Disappointing
Reviewed By Black_Pig2Room was on ground floor close to reception so very noisy. There was a band playing on the roof terrace and a party on the 3rd floor - so the noise continued to 3 in the morning. Forget about picking something from the menu for dinner as they do not have most things...including rice! Breakfast was almost non-existent. There must be better places in Lomé for the same price. Bedside lamp didn’t work in room. No batteries in TV remote - but that is commonplace anywhere. Toilet seat perched on toilet - not secure. Clean room and comfortable bed. Staff were pleasant and tried their best. Going to try another hotel next time.

It reminds me old good backpackers time
Reviewed By Eryk932It is average hotel that reminds me times when I started sleeping in budget hotels instead of hostels. It is very basic, well, you have tv in your room and bathroom. It looks clean. Bathroom is very basic but you can survive without any issue. Don't expect nice time as a couple as it is just-to-spend-night hotel. I am here because my flight was delayed and this is the hotel that the local airline booked for me. Staff speak English what is good and they are friendly and create good atmosphere. Free wifi which works but the speed is so so.
