Reviewed By WhereintheworlfTo our pleasurable surprise, this is the restaurant with the best beef we have had anywhere in Togo. My beef kebab and my companion;s beef steak were tasty and juicy, and although not as tender as the incredible meat you get, say, In South Africa, it was most edible. No jaw-grinding chewing here, as in many Togolese eateries. Our waiter was energetic, attentive and friendly and we had an enjoyable meal. Red wine by the glass priced at 1000 fcfa - a sensible price. What discouraged me was to see that there was antilope on the menu. Is this necessary? Togo's birds and wildlife are poached / killed by all and sundry. Why contribute to nature's demise?

Our rooms are also decorated with natural materials. From our terrace you have a breathtaking view to Mount Kloto. The hotel garden offers you the opportunity to get to know many plants and fruits varieties of our area. From here you can explore our beautiful area, the Waterfalls, the Butterfly Village, the Bat Valley, the German cemetery of the colonial era and many more. Reviewed By tmucThe Austrian / American couple that runs that place is amazing and takes a lot of time for the guests. You feel really home in there. The place itself is within a nice garden, rooms are big. Showers are basic (water pressure could be a bit more but I guess thats the way it is in Togo) but we felt very home and the food at the restaurant was amazing. Thank you for all!

It’s very clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. The food was good. I had a crepe for dessert with honey. Awesome! I look forward to come ba k and spend the night

Inn with four rooms with bathroom, restaurant under straw and wooden floors, bar with its arbours and a garden full of flowers and trees. Restoration French, European and African (on order). The hotel is a 3-minute drive from Kpalime city center, Atakpame Road.
My favorite place in Togo & Benin
Reviewed By Lezza123I found la Paillote through some online research as I wasn’t that happy with my first night‘s accommodation at another place in Kpalime. How lucky was I! This one easily beat it and any other place I had stayed at in that price range in Togo or Bénin afterwards. My room was beautifully designed and apart from that it was spotless and clean (not always a given...), all of which made me feel very much at ease. The food is delicious. They are big on meat and fish, but I opted for a vegetarian surprise and was indeed pleasantly surprised about the fine taste. The coffee is great - been craving it ever since. The staff was really nice even though I could only speak broken French. I usually appreciate WiFi-free holidays - in this case it would have been helpful for travel planning as my SIM card didn’t work. Just be prepared when you come here. As for the cold water that was mentioned before: at this unbeatable price it’s rare to find warm water showers in a country like Togo; that can be found at expensive hotels. I thoroughly enjoyed the cold shower with running water after a day of hiking in 35 degrees Celcius.

Pleasant and comfortable
Reviewed By Caroline DHotel Agbeviade is a pleasant base to explore the scenic forest in the area. It is a simple place and is decorated with wood carving pieces and many lovely green, lush plants. Our room upstairs (#11) has a patio where one can sit and relax. The shower is in excellent working condition, with good pressure and plenty of hot water. The room is simple, on the small side, but clean. AC is working. The bed is firm, but comfortable. Decent home- cooked food is served in a pleasant dinning area and by warm and friendly staff. Excellent Wifi connection. Good breakfast is served in the lovely garden. Highly recommended if you are visiting Kpalime.

Reviewed By danytwoL'hôtel restaurant Bel Air , se situe à la sortie de Danyi Apéyémé vers Dzogbégan sur une hauteur dominant une vallée où coule un charmant torrent . Le cadre est verdoyant et l'accueil est correct . La salle de restaurant, ouverte sur l'extérieur , est vaste avec un comptoir , des tables assez espacées , la télévision et un baby Foot ! Le menu se compose de plats simples autant en entrées qu'en plat principal . Les entrées sont composées de salades mixtes et de crudités . Les plats sont traditionnels ( entre 4000 et 5000 fr CFA) tels que viandes , poissons et volaille ,dont le fameux poulet bicyclette avec légumes , riz ou frites ou couscous ou spaghettis ( plat très courant au Togo ) . Les desserts se composent de crèmes , gâteaux ou fruits . Le petit déjeuner est selon votre faim basic ( 1500 fr CFA ) ou complet ( 2500 fr CFA) très copieux avec omelette ou oeuf au plat avec ou sans bacon , pain beurre confiture locale artisanale , pâtisserie , thé , chocolat ou café ou jus de fruit frais . Les chambres sont de deux types avec ventilateur à 11.000 fr CFA ou avec climatisation à 21.000 Fr CFA . grand lit , douche et WC . La douche fonctionnait bizarrement. Le confort est très simple et notamment nous avons été privé d'eau chaude dans une chambre ( la mienne ) alors que les autres en avait . La nuit , il fait frais car nous sommes à 800 m d'altitude et il manque une couverture ... La chambre est équipée d'une petite table une seule chaise et une penderie ouverte . ( rappel 1 euro = 656 Fr CFA)

Reviewed By Trail440886The property looks good , has a nice swimming pool, but there were hardly any guests and one got a feeling of staying in an abandoned place.The staff did not know any English at all, we had to change the room given as the AC was not good, the room furniture was minimal and the Breakfast was pathetic
