The best place to stay in Langzhong
Reviewed By 70avaWe checked a few places in town, and found Tianyi to be the best of them all. It is centrally located in the old town, the building itself is magnificent and atmospheric and the decoration is authentic due to the fact that it is part of the Feng Shui Museum (you get a free entry). The name hostel is misleading, since they have a lot of private rooms with shower and toilet. The place is spotlessly clean in a way that is a rarity in China even in big and expensive hotels. The stuff is nice and accommodating and if you do not speak Chinese or can not use Baidu Translate, they will find an English speaking person to communicate with you. We stayed 2 nights and loved it. Very reasonably priced.

Reviewed By XJ1001The experience at Blossomhill was good until an incident after checkout mired exposed the hotel for what it actually is. After checkout, we had lunch in the hotel restaurant. As I was going to the toilet, I found a kitchen staff smoking in the customer toilet (there was only one toilet with one cubicle). By the way, smoking in indoors is not allowed in China. And I can’t fathom why Blossomhill- the most expensive and well reviewed hotel in the area would allow its staff to smoke in the customer toilet. Since the toilet reeks of cigarette smell, I went to the front desk to reflect the situation and ask if there is another toilet available, stressing that this is dangerous to my mom who has asthma. The front desk lady, whom I later found out was called Pan Si Yu（潘思羽), did not seem sympathetic towards my situation, in fact pretty rudely asked me to go to a public toilet outside the hotel instead (public toilets are notoriously dirty in China and not to mention I had to walk out of the hotel to do so ). When I confronted her about the smoking situation, she was equally unhelpful and half-heartedly said she would talk to the kitchen staff after conceding that smoking indoors is indeed not allowed. I observed her afterwards for 15 mins, she was just sitting there looking at her phone and computer and made no movement towards the kitchen. There is 2 staff at the front desk and no guest to attend to during that time so her indifference is probably the only thing keeping her from going to the kitchen. Now I have to share a bit of background on why this is so upsetting to me. My grandmother has Compulsory Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) which she died from and my mother who is with me on this trip has severe asthma which is easily triggered by airborne irritants. In fact, I had highlighted that she has asthma upon check-in. Every time we travel we have to bring multiple inhalers, a spacer and facemask. We also make a point to check out the address of the nearest hospital. Cigarette is a common trigger and if my mom does have an attack, it could be life-threatening. It is extremely alarming the indifference the hotel displayed and it implies to me that it must be a common occurrence and they really don’t care very much about it at all. I have no objections to any staff smoking, they just have to do it responsibly, aka not indoors and not in a public area. I called the customer service mainline and again they acknowledge that staff is not allowed to smoke in the restaurant toilet and promised to contact the hotel front desk for more information. I requested for an alternative toilet for my mom and me to use and an apology from Pan. 20mins later, nothing happened. I called again, they promised that the hotel manager would sort things out. This time, Pan showed up to take me to the bathroom in one of the guestrooms, however, her demeanour is as bad as ever, she was like " How long do you need to use the toilet?" " Do you know that we have other guests coming ( it was not even 2pm and check in time is 3pm)?" Her tone clearly reflected her displeasure. There was also no apology whatsoever. 5 minutes later, I noticed Pan had a brief conservation with the kitchen staff (at the entrance of the kitchen near us, most probably for us to hear), but all she said was be mindful when you are wearing the uniform. Does that mean he can smoke in the toilet when he’s not wearing a uniform? Again no apology when she passed by. Before leaving, I called customer service again since there was still no apology after 3 phone calls and more than one hour of waiting for a closure. Finally, the hotel manager came to speak to us. To be fair, she handled the issue well and understood my point of view when I showed her all my mom's emergency gadgets. She also seemed surprised that Pan did not apologise. I rarely write reviews but this is an issue that is very close to my heart. I wanted the hotel (and really as many people as possible) to understand that it is really important for people with respiratory diseases to have safe, clean air to breathe in especially in places that they expect to have it AND that asthma attacks are life-threatening. I hope the hotel management is able to look into it and help people with respiratory disease live with less unwarranted risk in their life. If you can’t even be bothered about your guest’s basic mortal safety then all the supposed good service is just lip service.

Reviewed By xj10041220酒店的位置，外面的环境都很好，尤其是自助餐，西餐中餐都很好吃. 但是房间内的卫生有待加强。 入住的时候，地上头发，残渣，镜面上的残渍， 都还有。 直接让他们又重新打扫了房间。加之我住了一个晚上商务大床房。第二天10点钟告知我我的房间已经被别人订了， 只好又换到小的房间。折腾了两个小时。 忘加强管理！

Reviewed By Haomiao HWe stayed at Samsara Hotel several months ago, and had a great experience there. The resort was beautifully designed and the environment is superb. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful. Featuring two comfortable beds and a separate seating area, the room was spacious and pleasant. The bathroom was large and modern. The breakfast was also good. The hotel was a great value, and I will definitely return to this hotel if I visit Langzhong again.

Reviewed By Safari14741535880受邀前往历史文化风水名城阆中，打造的阆中明宇豪雅度假酒店，给这座川北名城旅游与休闲填补了五星级酒店空白。酒店设计感强，蕴含了风水等地域文化特色，外观富有热带度假酒店的格调，面朝嘉陵江，背靠龙脉山。给古城添色。从成都自驾，或是从西安来阆中都很方便，动车与自驾两相宜。我在这住了两晚，距古城约五分钟车程，距火车站15分钟车程。拥有超过2200平米的会议宴会场所，最大的多功能宴会厅达到1008平方米，配套一应俱全，在县级市里举办个婚礼相当有面子，达到一线城市的水准。

Beautiful courtyard inn
Reviewed By mapleleaf2727This inn was built by the Li's family in 1506 and is located right in the middle of the old town. It has 3 courtyards and at least 12 rooms. We stayed on the upper floor. The room was clean and well furnished with modern amenities. Staff was nice and helpful. Complimentary breakfast was at a cozy cafe that's designed to replicate teahouses of ancient China. They served really good noodles. One thing to note though - the inn does not accept "international credit cards". Payment by cash. If you are traveling from Chengdu, I would suggest that you take the bus from the northern bus station at Chengdu. Journey time is about 3.5 hours and buses depart every hourly. This may be faster than Chengdu to Nanchong (1hr 40 mins by fastest train), followed by Nanchong to Langzhong (1hr 20 mins by bus) because of the transit waiting time. Moreover, you may not be able to get train tickets from Nanchong back to Chengdu unless you book early. We couldn't.

A beautiful hotel in a manor style
Reviewed By jfromdThe hotel located in the beautiful ancient town of Langzhong. The wooden house is built in the beautiful local style and has 82 rooms with shower, toilet and TV. The rooms are furnitured beautifully and traditionally, but poorly soundproofed. The house is a large courtyard with three beautiful and comfortable furnitured yards. The breakfast is simple, but there are a lot of restaurants nearby.

Reviewed By 旅多游少华夏水码头客栈是一个水博物馆，是原来嘉陵江南充航务公司的办公地点，现在被一个成都老板买下作为主题客栈。酒店很有文化意味，但是由于古院太大，有点阴森森的感觉……服务员也是一脸木然，没什么服务意识。
