The guest house "at Eric" is located 450 kilometers south ofAgadir between Tan Tan and Tarfaya. It is located in the center of the village, on the seafront with stunning views of the ocean. Akhfennir located at the gates of the Sahara, you will in our establishment all the necessary comfort to the continuation of your voyage towards the great south Sahara. Next to the nature reserve Knifiss, and incredible lagoon you can admire its wildlife mainly composed of migratory birds and waders of all kinds. On request we can of course arrange a day of fishing in this majestic scenery. For your comfort you will also have with us a high-speed connection as well as a restaurant whose menu is mainly focused on fish product of (the day only)
Nice place to stop on your way south
Reviewed By lblancodomIt is a nice place to stop on your way south, although there is not much to do in the city. They offer good information on the region and can arrange a boat visit at Khnifiss National Park, which is like 15 mins. by car. There could be a door between the room and the bathroom to make it perfect.

Not a nice experience
Reviewed By Rackell14We have just come back from Tunisa stayed at this hotel So we arrive at the room only one electric socket in the room our adapter wouldn't fit so we had to buy a new one! The basic rooms don't have hair dryers ? the rooms are very clean and the hotel is very clean too. The food isn't the best seem to have the same things on each night and food could be alot hotter than it was! If u like to eat later then their is no choice for food or pud they don't seem to keep stocks up once it gets later Staff are lovely and work very hard in hotel. We won't be going back ??

Basic hotel in central El Aaiún
Reviewed By ffay005A basic but adequate hotel in central El Aaiún / Laâyoune. By western standards, it would probably be rated as a two-star, or perhaps even a three-star on the lower end of the scale. The room was of average size and reasonably clean, but very outdated. The bed was comfortable and the sheets clean, but all furniture looked and felt very old. There was a fridge, and a safe but staff was unable to find the key. Wifi was fast and reliable. The password is omar2580, the passwords posted in the room are not valid anymore. The bathroom was equally dated, but there was ample hot water and the water pressure in the shower was good. The bathroom included a bathtub with a handheld shower. A very basic breakfast was included in the room rate, and was served from 7 to 10 on the top floor. There was freshly squeezed orange juice, plain omelettes, youghurt and a few bakery items. Otherwise, there is no restaurant at the hotel anymore. Reception staff are friendly and well-intentioned, and speak English. The hotel is located on Avenue 24 November, 500 meters from the central roundabout. The airport is only a few minutes away by taxi (20 MAD), and you can actually walk there in 25 minutes, too. Price wise, the hotel was cheap, as should be with these standards.

Reviewed By FaulttravellerThis is the best and newest hotel in the city of Laayoune. Staff is very helpful and rooms are clean. Breakfast is weak. You may find some cakes and pastry as a breakfast. But I was happy during with my 3 days stay in a suite at the hotel.

Good Airport Hotel Near City Center

Close to airport (10 minutes away). 10 minute walk to center of town so close to shops and restaurants. Quiet. Pleasant place to relax after being in desert or off-roading. Would stay here again if in Layounne.

Best Hotel in Laayoune but not good enough
Reviewed By iManos-XJRSmall Appartments actually, with small kitchen big fridge 2TVs with hundreds of Arabic mostly channels, large living room area with 2 sofas, full bathroom and small visitors WC. But... Only one small and large towel, nothing in the fridge, only one TV remote, and the worst of all was the non adjustable water temperature in the shower. Cold and hot was coming at will, turning my morning shower in an ordeal. In addition there was a malfunctioning light sensor that was turning on and off the bathroom lights at will.

Amazing Hotel, Amazing Staff
Reviewed By Claudiomar FWhen I was going to West Sahara, people told me that everybody are really hospitable because they descend from nomads. I could feel it when I arrived at this hotel. Sometimes the hotel you stay it´s one of the best parts of the whole trip. It was like that staying at Grande Care hotel. Not so many times I felt so good and so welcomed staying in this hotel. The owner couldn´t speak English, but even like that he was very nice and always calling the staff that works for him and that speaks a perfect English. They explained everything I would see, do, walk around. Well, my friend. They were really nice and, even I staying one day, It seems that we are friends from decades! Wanna an advice? Go to Laayoune and stay at Grande Care hotel!

Disgraceful
Reviewed By Donal CI looked up hotels in Tafaya, South of Morocco and on your site I found the hotel El Ghazi which I booked through Booking. Com which you referred me to for four nights from the 18 October. It was confirmed by three emails from Booking.com and a telephone call made by myself to the hotel on Saturday. When I arrived at the hotel the night of 18th at about 9 pm it was shut. No lights! There was a bell which I rang but no answer. I had called 7 times in the 90 mins from the bus - mobile number and landline number - before arriving and no reply. In the dark, no taxis here, and with a bag on my back I had to go searching for another place. Disgraceful.
