Reviewed By Shortstop888We had apartment with 2 bedrooms - room 20, perfect for family with 2 teenagers. Plenty of space including balcony to sit out after skiing. Location of lodge was good for access to Stuben, Lech, Zurs, St. Anton - we parked at different location each day. Ski area is fabulous - more than you can cover in a week although we tried. Walking to ski bus is also possible. Spa / wellness centre , traditional Austrian, was used every night to relax - great facility - the panorama view out and in is unusual. The hostess was really helpful and booking process very smooth. We had breakfast (rolls can be pre ordered night before) in our apartment but it was available from lodge as well. Walking distance to supermarket, bakery and several local restaurants. Great stay!

Reviewed By N3613WKemmatThis hotel is a real gem. The food is as good as any 5 star hotel. The service is very good, efficient and friendly. The rooms are comfortable and the spa has two saunas and a quiet room for lounging in. The value in terms of the skiing and apres skiing is unbeatable. A frequent bus ride to the local ski station takes you via gondola to Zurs and Lech. After 8.30pm a taxi is required which can be expensive. My hope is that the schedules will improve as this little village is put firmly on the map.

Reviewed By 17ColdstreamWe (8 adults & 2 babies) stayed in the 4 bedroom apartment at this newly opened resort in Dec 2019. What we like: 1. Strategic location; supermarket nearby, free bus to Sonnenkopf hof ski slopes, walkable to restaurants 2. Check in via a computer terminal and very quick, the terminal will generate the key cards to your apartment. 3. Lovely view of the mountains from our living room 4. On 1 Jan, a bird’s eye view of fireworks outside from our balcony. There was a party with music, food & drinks nearby. On 31 Dec, could also see the fireworks from our balcony 5. Beautiful & well designed layout, love the quilts! Big wardrobe space, ample hangers, luxurious bathrobes for the pool. 6. Lovely welcome of 2 packets of pasta & pasta sauce 7. Nice surprise; Housekeeping came with 2 bottles of sparkling wine 8. Quick response to emails 9. Lovely outdoor heated pool which you can swim to from inside. A nice indoor pool for kids inside with some toys Could do better: 1. It would good if someone came to show us how to use the appliances & starter kit; we do not understand German 2. No microwave; this is more useful than an oven. 3. We only had 1 small knife and they came to give us 1 bigger knife after email request. 4. The mattress a bit soft 5. Facial cotton & cotton buds too little for 5 nights stay 6 .Even though the layout showed 2 bedrooms with queen size beds, it was 2 single beds joined together. 7. The breads & croissants at the reception should be placed in covered trays

Very nice place to stay
Reviewed By Michael TWe spend one night at the Stockinger and thoroughly enjoyed it. The owners were very pleasant and were willing to help with dinner suggestions. The room was clean and comfortable with a great view down the valley. Breakfast was perfectly fine and on-site, free parking is available. The place offers very good value for the price. PLEASE NOTE-they only take cash! No credit or debit cards!!

Excellent accomodation, host so attentif, very good value for the area
Reviewed By Ale_basmiI had a great time at Haus zur Post. I had to find accomodation on short notice, this place allowed me to stay for my holiday at a very convenient price! Rooms are lovely, warm and with private sink and shower. The toilet is shared but always clean. Full breakfast in the morning with plenty of choice. Skibus takes you to skilifts, connecting you to Zurs and Lech as well in decent timings. The host Sylvia is extremely helpful. She gave me a discount card that saved me a lot of money, my previous hotel didn't! I was living early on the last day, Sylvia arranged breakfast for me at 6:45, she didn't have to. Thanks Sylvia, i'll come back!

Tolle Frühstückspension, flexibel, nett und top gelegen
Reviewed By Udo lFür alle, denen die Top-Destinationen am Arlberg (St. Anton, St. Christoph, Zürs. Lech oder auch Stuben) zu teuer (geworden...) sind, bietet sich mit dem Hotel Garni Christian eine preiswerte und hervorragend gelegene Alternative. Die Chefin, Frau Brunner ist stets bestens gelaunt, das Frühstück gut und ausreichend, die Zimmer blitzblank und hinreichend groß, die Saunalandschaft über dem Standard, sehr schnelles WLan ist kostenlos in allen Zimmern verfügbar. Sehr zu loben ist auch die hohe Flexibilität, egal ob 2, 4 oder 7 Tage, alles ist möglich. Das sonst übliche "nur von Samstag bis Samstag" gibt es hier nicht. Also gerade auch für Kurzentschlossene eine prima Alternative. Und: der Skubis hält direkt vor der Haustüre, in 6 Minuten ist man in Stuben, an der Talstation der Albona 1 und mttendrin in einem der besten Skigebiete Europas. Wer nicht mit dem Skibus fahren will erreicht mit dem eigenen Auto Stuben in 5 Minuten, in Zürs ist man in 12-15 Minuten. Und das für relativ kleines Geld, gemessen am üblichen Arlber-Standard. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

great appartment, great location
Reviewed By januszhoWe stayed there for a week. A large, very well equipped apartment. 3 times bigger than what you get in France. We did not use our cal for the whole week as buses run every 30 mins and it takes only 10 mins to get to the Stuben ski lift. The owners are very helpful. We used their bread service every day so had fresh rolls for breakfast. Strongly recommend this place and the whole area for skiing
