Reviewed By Fabio IThe Hotel is great ,but we had a problem I have been trying to contact The Jama Hotel for several days .I was staying on november 26TH room 1517. On the 28Th ,we received a message from Hotel /Booking saying that my wife`s found black leather coat We were very happy we thought the coat had been stolen,I send several messages and telephones ,giving instructions for sending the coat to Spain,and requesting the values for shipping But strangely no one answers ,this attitude of a 5 star Hotel is very strange I don't know what to do anymore This situation is very unpleasant.

A break from from the hustle
Reviewed By Tullster69We stayed one night at Hudicevec and it was a welcome break from the endless walks near Lake Bled and Postojna. A perfect place to recharge your batteries, with its big grounds with cattle and horses. It is quite close to the highway; so wasnt difficult to find. The flip side is that the noise can be troubling in the night. The food quality is excellent and the al fresco dining along with the wines made for an enjoyable evening.

Reviewed By Alessio0575We decided to stay one night at this hotel for our visit to the Caves and the Predjama Castle. The hotel is part of the whole Caves complex, and its located just 10 minutes walk from the caves entrance. The rooms are very clean, and well equipped, breakfst is not included but available with 9 euro extracharge at the nearby restaurant. By staying at the hotel it's possible to get a 10% discuount for the visit to Caves and caslte as well as for a dinner at the restaurant next door (which probably belongs to the same organizartion). also very conveninent for a free of chrge car space. Overninght there is no reception and in case of emergency the guests are provided with a phone number to contact another hotel for help. Overall very good choice, there is not much in Postojna, and by staying in this hotel you will get everything at hand.

Horrendous
Reviewed By StormjcWe collected our key, went into the hut and the horror began. It was dark, very cold and filthy. The mattresses were stained with blood and other bodily fluids. The shower and toilet were disgusting, heavily stained and mouldy. There were crumbs on the table cloth with dead beetles. No facilities were open and were only informed of this upon arrival. When we returned to complain to reception we were greeted with "What do you expect". His manner was extremely rude and uncompromising.

Comfortable one-night stay at the Kras Hotel
Reviewed By Ciprian DOn my way to the airport in Ljubljana, I made a one-night stop in Postojna. I have done some research on TripAdvisor and chosen the Kras Hotel. Well, it was perfect, the hotel was surprisingly good and well appointed. My room on the 4th floor was spacious and comfortable. I especially appreciated the cleanliness of the room, it was immaculate. Breakfast was of adequate quality, parking included, so everything fine. The Reception desk also recommended me a very good restaurant for dinner (Storija), which was very close from the hotel. I was fully satisfied with my stay and I clearly endorse this hotel, for both shorter or longer stays.

Everything in Postojna is convenient
Reviewed By Len HThe hotel is somewhat like a rooming house. It is just two blocks off the main drag and within walking distance to restaurants. The rates are very reasonable, the bed comfortable and the neighborhood very quiet. I can’t imagine anyone more helpful, efficient or charming than Rebecca who situated us. When our GPS didn’t take us to the hotel she drove to our location in Postojna and led us there on the one way street. The caves are a 20 minute walk (or you can drive and park)

Amazing Location, Amazing Dinner, Simple/Comfortable Room
Reviewed By Chad LMy wife and I stayed here for two nights as part of our Slovenia holiday. The hotel is small with 10 rooms and located in the middle of the vineyards of the Vipava Valley. It is about 3-4 km from the main town of Vipava. we walked into town and it was easy to follow the roads. Additionally, we walked around the roads in the vineyards and saw the local goats and llamas. The staff was super friendly and helpful and allowed us to pick our room for our stay. The rooms are in a lower level below the main building and vegetable/herd garden. Each room had a skylight to provide natural light that could be covered for sleeping. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was open to the bedroom with only a curtain for privacy. The shower has a partial glass wall and great stone floor. However, when showering, water got all over the bathroom floor and leaked under the glass door. They had placed a towel at the shower opening to reduce water on the floor, but the towel got very wet. Breakfast was standard with fresh basked bread, meats, cheeses, yogurt, and boiled eggs. one huge bonus was the homemade jams that were included in the breakfast. These were great! We had dinner one night and were blown away by the quality of the dinner. We a four-course meal and each course was unique, unusual, and delicious and probably the best meal we had in Slovenia. We also tried some local Vipava wines with our dinner and the staff helped pick the best wine. Don't miss out on having dinner here, you will not be disappointed.
