Excelent hotel
Reviewed By 18aritzsBig rooms, very clean place, excellent food and very nice people. Quiet place with only 8 rooms. Good rooftop views. We asked for several things and they got everything. We also asked to stay in the pool after leaving the rooms and they lend us one room to have a shower or use the bathroom. We will come back for sure.

He is a such nice guy, he showed us the city in the night and even helped us to rent the quads. Me and my friends were having a such great time in the hotel and we will always be happy to go back again. Hassan, thank you so much for the surprise you have done to us.

Reviewed By Storyteller730359We really enjoyed our one night here. The sun came out and we relaxed by the pool in the afternoon of our arrival. Our room was ground floor and huge. In contrast to another reviewer, we found the food to be quite good. Again excellent staff. After our dinner we sat by the fire lit in the common area. This is a pretty large facility and not many people were staying there so we would say that our experience could have been different if they had been full.

Reviewed By Levi WI had an outstanding time staying one night in Dar Marhaba before my desert camping experience. The hotel itself is beautifully designed and decorated with a mesmerising view of the Sahara. The staff and owner Hassan, are incredibly accommodating, friendly and perceptive. I enjoyed breakfast and dinner, which were both quality with generous portions.

Reviewed By Michael AYou really get your money's worth camping at this luxury camp site. The sunset camel ride to the desert was spectacular. You spend about 2 hours to walk in the sand dunes and get a great view of the sunset. Then dinner is non-stop food. It was so delicious that it was hard to stay awake to see the stars at night. The rooms were better than hotels I've stayed at in the United States. I went in January so it did get very cold at night, but the blankets somehow kept me warm. Sunrise was another spectacular experience and breakfast was once again non-stop food options. And somehow this all cost under $50 USD. The only regret I had was that I didn't do 2 nights out here. What a relaxing and beautiful experience.

Small riad. The family has made a beautiful courtyard in the middle of several rooms for tourists. The rooms have a simple cultural style and are very clean. The eating area provides togetherness for a group or a small area for privacy. The gracious family makes you feel right at home.
Amazing hospitality, amazing value, amazing location
Reviewed By HPRedOne of the highlights of our trip was staying at Maison Hassan. The location was amazing with our terrace having great views of the dunes at the edge of the Sahara. The room was very comfortable with plenty of hot water. Owner Ibrahim was warm, generous and gregarious and we enjoyed chatting with him. Breakfast was included in the price and was fab, as was the three course dinner, which we paid extra for but was still amazing value and plentiful. Loved everything about Maison Hassan.
