Reviewed By MarwanEngelsThe most friendly and helpful owner one could wish for. He helped us thoroughly with getting a clear idea of how to do the ha Giang loop with the motor bikes he rented for us. He helped us with finding fitting hostels along the way and made sure we got everything we needed. We asked for him to get us a bus to ha long Bay via WhatsApp during our tour and he arranged everything. Really could recommend this hostel with it's fine owners. Concerning the hostel itself; clean comfortable beds and nice bathroom. Perfect

Reviewed By Stlo01It took us 9 hours by bus to get there from Hanoi. The approach is over a suspension bridge. Once checked in you will be shown your lodge. Being November at night it felt damp both inside and out as the temperature falls significantly from the day time temperatures. We had two days of good walking and two evenings of lovely food. The bar area has the wifi so there is non in the rooms which we welcomed.

Reviewed By _R5261QHMe and my friend stayed at Creekside home stay before and after we did the Loop. Since we can’t drive a motor cycle, we asked the owner if he can arrange a car with a driver. He arranged it for us and the driver was very professional. They have bicycles so you can rent it if you want to go around the city. The shared bathrooms are very clean.

Reviewed By KiwikruitWe arrived at 4am on a night bus to Ha Giang. The staff let us in an showed us to our rooms. Marky from Kiki's house had been reccomended to us by a friend to do the Ha Giang Loop and we were not dissapointed. We spent 3 days and 2 nights on the loop and it was my highlight of all four countries that I visited in South East Asia. The hostel was quiet but comfortable and clean. The food and dining area next door was great and all the staff were very friendly. We spoke to Marky the next morning who was incredibly friendly and spoke great english. It was $60 USD per day. This including new 2019 semi automatic bikes, Fuel, Insurance, Helmets, water, food and accomodation. All you pay for is alcoholic beverages. He knew all the places to go that other tours didn't or couldn't go due to larger numbers and not having the local knowledge. He knew all the staff at each destination and the best places to go for lunch as well. It also covers spectacular private accomodation at each homestay although we opted for dorms for the experience! All and all, we were so impressed with our experience, we left wanted to come back and do the entire loop again. Thank you for the trip of a lifetime Marky and Kiki's House!

Reviewed By TTNZThe Ha Giang Riverside Hostel is an excellent place to begin and end a Loop tour. My friend and I did the tour, arranged through Lily's Travel in Hanoi ( see seperate review) with all local Ha Giang service provided by Riverside Hostel. This included a pick up service from the bus station, after arriving by sleeper bus. Binh from Riverside Hostel collected us at 3:00a.m from the bus station, amazing service! We were then able to sleep until morning, shower and have a delicious breakfast before heading off to do the Loop with our two Easy Riders, also arranged by Riverside Hostel. At the completion of the tour we were dropped back at Riverside to await the bus back to Hanoi. Binh was friendly and helpful even at 3:00am, and in the morning Logan and Paul chatted with us over breakfast and informed us of all arrangements. After the Loop ride we were welcomed back as friends. The Hostel is basic, but clean and comfortable with a lovely back deck overlooking the river where you eat breakfast. But it's the service that makes this place a stand-out! Highly recommended as your starting and ending place for the Loop, they will look after you and help make your amazing trip even more so!.

The tour guids from Chopai hostel where amazing, drinking the "happy water" every evening and doing karaoke with the locals, was fun! Cheers to oure guids Hanh and Sáng! ?

Reviewed By JMSPMachadoJust get of the bus from Hanoi and you'll be standing almost in front of Giang Son Hostel. Giang (the owner, was super helpful and friendly). The rooms tough simple, were one of the cleanest we had in Vietnam (in the sub 20€ range). They have bikes for rent for a really good price and all of them new. They have a big garage and you can try'em a bit before deciding what to take, big plus on that! We ended up renting a 125 suzuki which was great. The only thing i would noticed is that at the time of renting no helmets had gopro mounts, but mine stayed there, so at least one helmet now has it! They managed to clean our laundry from one day to the other, so we had clean fresh clothes for the way. Giang also lead the initial part of the Ha Giang loop, riding on her motorbike ahead of us to make sure...arhmmm...we didn't get lost and had no problem leaving the town. We also booked the trip back to Hanoi through them, it went smooth and simple. Highly recommend this hostel.

We have 3 bungalows, all with ensuite bathrooms & 2 large dorm room. We have big beds and we organize free waterfall tours & family dinner everyday. Currently we serve Free delicious breakfast for all our guests and our restaurant serves food and beverages all the time. We are sure you will feel extremely comfortable in our clean and spacious rooms. We also make a family dinner every night which everyone is welcome to join and drink happy water with us! We also have motorbike & car rental and service for tours. We give all our guests free advice and information on exploring the Ha Giang loop and the surrounding area. Reviewed By paulDcmbWe stayed for one night and booked the tour. The Hostel is really clean and the staff is really friendly and helps a lot. The tour was beautiful (even though we were unlucky regarding the weather) and the guide was nice. I highly recommend the loop and the hostel.
