Discovering the Perl of Goris
Reviewed By 35julijasI did not plan to visit Goris, but exceptional circumstances made me do so. To tell the truth I did not expect any place like that in the city. We were advised to go for a dinner to Khoreayi Dzor and liked the food and Goris views so much, that decided to check the rooms and to stay overnight. The hotel is not very big, but new. The atmosphere in the hotel makes you feel at home. The staff is very attentive and makes their best to satisfy all your needs. Breakfast can be served outside if you prefer to enjoy it in the sun. The rooms are very well designed, spacious, fresh, clean, with comfortable beds and great views over the city from French balconies if you choose Deluxe or higher room category. There is a kettle and 2 cups, selection of tea/coffee provided as well as all bathroom amenities. While travelling to Tatev, next time Khoreayi Dzor in Goris will be my priority as I choose comfortable stay and tasty food for reasonable prices, maybe even for 2 nights to enjoy it to the fullest. My only advise to the management would be to double check the sanitary engineering mounts, as in my room they could be fixed better. Most of all I liked the mirador, where we spent our late evening with local wine and enjoyed all around 360 view of Goris. Thanks to all the staff and the owners for making our holidays exceptionally unforgettable!

There are nice people in Armenia, and there is Marietta. From home made cake to breakfast everything is delicious. You haven’t been in Armenia if you didn’t meet Marietta.

Reviewed By manipulativecOur stay at Goris was amazing all thanks to this hotel and the staff! Everyone was so friendly and hospitable it felt as if we were staying at a relative’s house. And the breakfast, oh every morning the breakfast was so big and delicious and it was completely included in the price!! The other amazing thing about the hotel was the view, so breathtaking! All of Goris city was visible from the hotel and the air was so fresh and soothing. We’re definitely planning to go there again and it’s a place I highly recommend for all!

About Hotel The building is situated on Bakunts str. 13, Nowadays the hotel "Zanger", was built in 1953 by participant of the Great Patriotic War, famous organizer of Partisan Movement in Belarus, commander of 620th guerrilla band Hovhannes (Manutsh) Khachatryan, and in 2012 by his generations it was rebuild and deconstructed into hotel. Hotel "Zanger" offers rest in the comfortable rooms and wonderful warm atmosphere. It is a duplex-type building with elements of Armenian architecture and local coloration. The hotel has a parking , spacious halls, free Wi-Fi, bar, dining room, outdoor cafe, parterre and garden. The hotel serves Armenian dishes from ecologically pure products, as well as you can order special dishes, if you keep diet. In case of wish guided tours can be organized. The hotel offers to its guests standard single-, double-, triple- and four-bed rooms and luxury suits, as well as two-room family number. Some of the rooms have open balconies with view to the wonderful garden.

Reviewed By ScherIraniThis family run hotel was spotlessly clean, warm, friendly and overall a great place to stay in Goris. We really felt at home here. My friend and I stayed in a room with an attached bathroom, however even the shared bathroom was observed to be spotlessly clean. The owners were friendly , helpful and very accommodating.

Big dinner surprise
Reviewed By apallesWe arrived un Goris late afternoon abd funda by accident thai hotel. After checking un and admiring the big and spacous room, we were offered dinner in the patio. This was more than an experience. We has the best dinner in Armenia. Hay a surprise, salads, cheese, local dishes in a huge variety, and everything server with splendid armenian wine. It was marvelous. More than recommendable.

Reviewed By Ravi_tripGot a good family room for 4 persons at very reasonable rate. Comfortable bed, good customer service, excellent break fast. To be noted that hotel is not in the city center but if you have your own vehicle, it does not make any difference.

Reviewed By Eddi70Небольшой отель, управляемый непосредственно хозяином. Он и завтрак может приготовить для постояльцев, и рассказать, что посмотреть в округе и как добраться. комнаты с неплохим ремонтом. Есть даже кондиционер, который, впрочем, не потребовался.
