Reviewed By 475lorrainecHad a one night stop here on the way south. This is a quaint hotel with a lovely big garden. The owner is very hospitable and greeted us with a sherry. The room was a good size and very comfortable. Good shower. Nice balcony. Easy parking. The breakfast was typical and nice. Short walk to the old town.

Friendly & helpful staff. Delicious continental breakfast in room with views over the near hillsides. Small convenience stood next door, useful for wine, nibbles, milk & lots of other items. Tram line outside, excellent free travel pass with room. Makes many places in both directions easily & freely accessible. Found some very good nearby bistro/restaurants & shops. Will definitely visit again.

Reviewed By LegareHotel Sarbacher stands proud in a beautiful notch across from a large nature reserve and is conveniently located for West Way walkers. Our bedroom overlooked the restaurant patio and was noisy during the day and quiet at night. While we found the staff curt and prices high, the wild game dinner was delicious, and breakfast was simply amazing. Overall a good stay.

Reviewed By Raphaela BSehr gepflegtes Hotel, Zimmer mit Küche, einziger Wermutstropfen war, durch Wohnzimmer und Schlafzimmer (202) rauschte der Verkehr. Sollte man drauf achten,wenn man das nächste mal bucht. Kleines feines Frühstückbüffet, es war alles da, was man so braucht und wurde auch immer wieder nachgelegt.

Reviewed By Gerrod SThe room was basic. It had beds and a bathroom and a desk and chair. The beds are comfortable and the room was spacious enough. The location was great for accessing Baden-Baden and the surrounding black forest area. The only issue was that the staff were hard to find and the place was very empty most of the time even though it is a restaurant.

Reviewed By jhaselhofIch war für zwei Nächte im Gasthaus „Sonne“. Der Empfang und der Service war über die ganze Zeit sehr zuvorkommend. Trotz Probleme mit der Reservierung durch fehlerhafte Übermittelung durch das genutzte Reservierungsportal eines Vermittlers, habe ich kurzfristig ein passendes Zimmer hergerichtet bekommen. Die Zimmer liegen in einem von der Gaststätte ca. 100 m entfernten Haus. Die Zimmer sind sauber und schön eingerichtet. Das WLAN funktionierte zufriedenstellend, wenn auch die Sendeleistung schwankend war. Parkplätze sind ausreichend vorhanden. Das Frühstück war gut. Das Restaurant war leider zur Zeit des Aufenthalts geschlossen. Bezahlung per Kreditkarte ist leider nicht möglich. Insgesamt ein angenehmer Aufenthalt

Mieux vaut chercher directement ailleurs afin d'éviter les mauvaises surprises.
