Heaven on earth!!!!

Reviewed By Neridah G

Naviti Resort is the most beautiful, peaceful place I have ever stayed at. It is perfect. The rooms vary for different travellers (singles, couples, families) and no matter what, they are so roomy and comfortable. The pool has an undercover swim up bar as well. Every staff member - reception, porters, bar, restaurant, housekeeping etc etc are just so warm and friendly, and will help with whatever you need. There's kids club and daily activities for kids and adults. Tour desk, taxis, beach and reef for snorkelling. Nightly entertainment too. There is even an adults only restaurant called Talei, and the food and service are A+. If I was asked to write a negative point it would be that it is out of the way along the coral coast, about 1.5 - 2hrs from Nadi Airport and approx 40min to sigatoka for shopping. There is a shop on site for basic essentials or another shop about 20min leisurely walk up the road. However, we loved that it was not near the airport. The biggest shout out goes to Mua the porter who always had time for a big smile and a chat, and Abele the waiter at Talei restaurant as he was always so polite, friendly and a genuine lovely man who just wants everyone to enjoy their time at the restaurant. We will keep going back.

Worst part was leaving

The worst part was leaving! Lovely to be back again after a few years. The resort hasn’t aged at all, rooms are still lovely and the staff happy smiling wonderful people. We were lucky enough to be upgraded and absolutely loved our beachfront suite, highly recommend this room type, with direct access to the best beach on the mainland. We swum several times a day, incredible warm, clear waters. Recommend Sanasana menu, Navo (pastas) but unfortunately the salads weren’t great at Navo. We had a better salad in-room dining. Wonderful housekeeping staff, couldn’t fault a thing. Breakfast was brilliant, one thing missing we noted was a good granola / muesli option for cereal. I’m planning to come back each year for a visit, we really enjoyed the week relaxing. Vinaka to all the wonderful staff

Gluten free - no worries!

Reviewed By dakotam723

I was originally super worried about eating white we were away as I am coeliac, vegetarian and pregnant. There was not alot of info about food or menus out there but I’m here to tell you, not a worry at all! From the second I arrived I was given a special wrist band which made it so easy. Every time I walked into any restaurant in the resort and told them I needed gluten free food and a chef would come out and speak to me, talk me through my options and most often make me something completely custom. I was never hungry or worried about cross contamination, it was amazing! The adults pool is an absolute must! We spent everyday there. Special thanks to Varsha and Susana for being amazing the whole stay. I also absolutely loved my time at the Bebe Spa, it’s was a perfect luxurious getaway. VINAKA!!!

This was our second visit to the Shangri La. Only this time, without the children & grandchildren, it was just the 2 of us. With all the updates carried out since our last visit, the resort is even better. As always, the staff are sensational and the service is great. Breakfast in the adults only restaurant was superb each morning, while the dinners we had at Takali and Golden Cowrie were fantastic. Looking forward to going back again.

Musket Cove Holiday

Reviewed By LindaC11

After over 2 years being unable to travel to Fiji, we were thrilled to be back. We had never stayed at Musket Cove but had always wanted to. Disembarking from the Malolo Cat, we were welcomed with beautiful voices. Check in went smoothly and we were shown to our beachfront bure. The bure was spacious and well appointed and so close to the sea. The service we got from staff was excellent. They we so friendly and helpful and really looked after us. Some notable people were Lice, Job and all the restaurant staff. The reception staff were amazing and really helpful and professional. But the most outstanding was housekeeping. They cleaned our room in the mornings which we requested every day as we like to nap in the afternoon. Our lady Rosa was lovely and did such an excellent job. The staff made the holiday for us, they are your treasures, look after them well. The food was plentiful and well done. We also enjoyed the BBQ's at the Island Bar and it was a pleasant place to get a shandy or two during the day. The café was wonderful and again the staff were lovely, they did the best ice coffee and also lemon squash which was an excellent thirst quencher. We ate our lunches there and loved the environment. We are both in our late 60's and comfort is paramount in any trip for us. We have been coming to Fiji since 2012 and have been over 15 times so know what we like. Our 11 days were the best we've had on a Fiji island for a long while. Thank you Musket Cove.

Disappointing stay

Reviewed By Berecca01

We were really disappointed and were hoping after 2 years of being closed things would have been tidied up and have improved. So many empty buildings and areas. We stayed 4 nights, most days they ran out of beer, lemonade, ice cream, bananas (no smoothies) the wifi didn’t work, Bula bikes and the spa were fully booked for the week, we had no house keeping in the time we were there and no clean towels (bath and beach) over the 4 nights. The inflatables are all perished with broken parts and my kids (7 and 9 didn’t feel safe or enjoy them) Tractors driving past in the morning from 6am, everything is really tired and run down. Food very average, Such a shame, I considered not writing the review but wish I had been more aware before we came so I didn’t feel so let down when we arrived. We booked a beach front Bure, the rooms are stuffy and hot with noisy fans and the air conditioning unit right outside your bedroom (with slat windows so you hear everything outside!) Didn’t have the super friendly fiji hospitality either. Staff said they’d book our dinner for us on our behalf twice and both times it wasn’t done. We had 4 nights prior in Denerau and just wish we’d stayed there and done a snorkel day trip instead. The positives were the Malolo Cat transfers were easy and reliable, and the snorkeling around the front wharf is great, there are enough pools that they weren’t very busy but there is no pool drink/food service.
