This was a bit of an unexpected find. Although a bit older, the unit was very comfortable, and the owner showed us where we could do our laundry, plus dry it, for no extra charge. Very reasonably priced, friendly and all we needed on our one stop visit.

This Motel was good for us as a couple. It was tidy and clean. The bathroom was a wet room and for two seniors this was ideal. There was everything you needed if you wished to self cater. Duchy gave us information about restaurants in which to eat and did not set us wrong. Thank you.

APPALLING, WORST PLACE IN NEW ZEALAND, SLEEP IN YOUR CAR!!!!

Reviewed By lloyddebb

The hotel is dilapidated and old and the room was bare, with flaky paint, worn out carpets, and smelt damp and musty. The place is a death trap if there was a fire, due to the complex layout. The owner was very unwelcoming and would not let us use the bar, the meal area, which was the only wifi area, and would not serve us breakfast ( which was included in the room rate ) because of his paranoia about us having the possibility of Covid-19, but he was happy to take our money, but would not refund it when we told him we were not staying due to the above mentioned problems. He also overcharged us for the room. AGAIN, DO NOT STAY HERE, find somewhere else.

Perfect for families with young kids

Reviewed By Linden L

After over 30 hours journey from Chicago to Christchurch, my two boys were so grumpy, Kevin(older brother) kept saying this is the worst trip ever. Then we arrived at our first stop on the way to Mt Cook, All season's lodge. Margret welcomed us and showed us our rooms. We got 2 upstair rooms with 2 full bath, what a good surprise. The best part is, when my wife and I were unpacking, Kevin disappeared, then we saw him in the farm, on a trailer, mustering a flock of sheep! Kevin had a great time with Brian, and totally recovered from the frustration of the long trip. Brian then took our family to meet all his animals, 3 pigs, some chicken, lots of sheep and cow, 2 alpaca, 2 dears and 2 elks. Their dog, Blue, is super nice. The B&B is great inside out. The breakfast is awesome. Kevin urged me to give 6 stars on tripadvisor. We are so lucky to stay in all seasons for our first day in New Zealand. All of our family are totally recovered next morning. The lodge is close to a small town Fairlie, per Margret's recommendation, we had dinner at a restaurant called Carnegies, it was great too. I think it's the best food we had during our stay in New Zealand. I can't say enough good words about all seasons. If you have young kids, it's a perfect place to stay. Even you don't have a family or kids, you will still enjoy the lodge.
