Big rooms, very clean place, excellent food and very nice people. Quiet place with only 8 rooms. Good rooftop views. We asked for several things and they got everything. We also asked to stay in the pool after leaving the rooms and they lend us one room to have a shower or use the bathroom. We will come back for sure.

A beautiful and peaceful oasis made even better by the charming and friendly staff. We spent 3 nights here and were sorry to leave. From breakfast on the roof terrace to dinner in the peaceful garden, cycling round the village on excellent new bikes followed by a swim in the pool- it was all so relaxing. Great base for exploring Valle des Roses and the Dadas valley which we did in 1 day (self drive). Particularly loved the peaceful Sidi Flah gorges to the south of Skoura. Thanks to Thierry and all the staff for making us so welcome.

I went to the camp yesterday with my family.. and all I can say is it was amazing!! They are so lovely and very welcoming! I have loved every second spent with them, from the camel rides to the bone fire under the beautiful stars of Merzouga! I recommend it 100%. The tents are very clean, luxurious and the natives are the kindest people I’ve ever met. I also recommend to ask for Saïd, when it comes to the camel rides. He is so kind hearted, you’ll love your trip on the way to the camp.

A Night to Remember

Reviewed By nelaskaris

Just amazing! This is a “must” experience if you want to enjoy the Merzouga desert at its fullest. The people are most welcoming and they make you fell like home. To get there you can ride a camel (approx. 1h) or via 4x4 car. Upon arrival you get to drink Berber tea at the wonderful gazebo with poufs and hammocks. The tents are quite big, clean, with a proper toilet and shower. They also provide some local clothing for the night where the temperature is quite lower. We had a very comfortable stay. Diner was one of the best we had in our entire trip. Almost all products come from their garden and they use very old traditional Berber recipes (which included their own pizza and meatballs). After diner, all guests gathered around the fire where the hosts sang and played the drums. There was some dancing involved too, which made the experience absolutely unique - we were singing and dancing around the fire in the Sahara desert! Next day we woke briefly at 4am to see the stars and the Milky Way galaxy as you have never seen it before. We then woke up again at 5:45 to enjoy the sunrise from the high dunes. After that, we enjoyed another special breakfast and then left. We wished we could stay there for another night. It is a family-owned business and you can tell they have poured their heart into it. They are the friendliest and kindest people you will meet. We 100% recommend it to anyone.

We really enjoyed our one night here. The sun came out and we relaxed by the pool in the afternoon of our arrival. Our room was ground floor and huge. In contrast to another reviewer, we found the food to be quite good. Again excellent staff. After our dinner we sat by the fire lit in the common area. This is a pretty large facility and not many people were staying there so we would say that our experience could have been different if they had been full.

Giving Ouarzazate the wow factor

Reviewed By HanHar

This was a lovely hotel, quintessentially Berber, with decorative wooden ceilings and antiquities carefully placed around the foyer and dining area. A beautiful terrace overlooking rural ouarzazate. The room was spacious and the bathroom delightful. We enjoyed a wonderful breakfast on green glazed pottery. The hotelier was a kind and gentle man that would do anything to help us. I only wished we’d stayed for longer. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting a typical Moroccan welcome.

Simple but great accomodation in the middle of a remote oasis

Reviewed By AndreaKobor

This was the last night of our 5-day tour and my husband and I absolutely loved it! The oasis is stunning, a beautiful lush island with so much life - we saw many frogs, birds, fish, and turtles. You can go ahead and explore the oasis on your own - feel free to say no to local guides who would offer to walk you around. We read in other reviews that this place is hard to reach, the road is terrible. It is somewhat true as this is a very remote location next to a tiny village where there is no proper infrastructure. This is exactly what one could expect and we rather appreciated the serenity of the place. The service was alright, the Berber omelet for breakfast was excellent! Best breakfast food we had on our full trip. The room is simple but we had hot shower and a mosquito net on the windows which you definitely need in the middle of an oasis :) If you have the chance, we definitely recommend staying at Terrasse des Delices!
