Reviewed By goldo_mfcUna experiencia espectacular, ambiente tranquilo, habitaciones impecables, todo el personal demasiado amable, la comida muy fresca y deliciosa, el lugar es hermoso , el ambiente en la noche demasiado romántico y bello para las fotos, dormir con el sonido de las olas, y despertar con un exquisito desayuno super completo . Definitivamente volvería a repetir mil veces, aunque es un poco costoso vale la pena, las instalaciones, el servicio, la atención y el personal lo recompensan. Si visitas La Guajira es una experiencia que definitivament e tienes que vivir!

Reviewed By lukaszlemurOne of the best hostel which we have stayed. Giada, the owner puts all her heart and passion into it and everyone will see that at a glance. We spend there 3 nights during tough time of coronavirus outbreak. We were forced to reorganising the back flights and we found great help from Giada side. Obligatory place for travellers in a magical Dibulla!

Reviewed By V1933QPhelenmA great hotel with clean, comfortable and spacious rooms. All rooms have a beautiful terrace that overlooks the sea and the Sierra Nevada mountains. The hotel’s restaurant I highly recommend as the food was delicious and they also have local dishes from the region. We had a wonderful time and all the staff were really friendly and helpful and made us feel welcome. They recommended us a few day trips to learn more about La Guajira and its culture. We highly recommend this hotel and we’ll definitely come back again. Special thank you to Miguel the owner and Rocio the administrator for making our time in Colombia such a memorable experience. We wish you all the best and we hope to be back soon.

We are a family Boutique Hotel. We offer a relaxed atmosphere, comfortable rooms, hammocks, yoga room, typical and fresh food, bar and a paradisiacal beach. On an 8-hectare land facing the sea, just one kilometer from La punta de Los Remedios, 40 minutes from Palomino and Rioacha, and 2.5 hours from Santa Marta and Tayrona Park is our establishment. La Punta de los Remedios, is a small and charming town only visited by a few tourists, which is why it makes it ideal to live a completely local and authentic experience next to the Caribbean. This place located in La Guajira, is famous for their carnivals, pink flamingos, bioluminescent plankton, delicious and cheap seafood, and the Wayúu and Kogui communities. The town centre is 1 km away from Coccoloba Beach Hotel, and we offer you a free motorboat ride to here if you book in advance! We are helping to change the tourism flow and in this small town of no more than 4K habitants, that's why your visit is so important for all of us.

Reviewed By stephanie cA great place to get away from it all. Family run, by really friendly people. (our little boy loved the fact that he had other children to play with?) The food was tasty & good portions. Our juices made without sugar and with a metal straw supplied? There is a beautiful, tranquil beach a stones throw away. Our room was clean & comfortable, the shower was lovely & refreshing! It was quite hot, no aircon, but fan was adequate.

Reviewed By EnglandAndersA HUGE resort complex but sadly parts are in disrepair ( football and sports areas ) Massive car park and very large but shallow pool with a good water slide. Food was OK, nothing special but kitchen/serving staff very pleasant Rooms very clean and quiet, comfy beds, good bathroom and excellent air con - its gets extremely hot around here and there are lots of insects at night. Reception staff not very interested, poor service, no tourist/travel information. Probably the best place in the area but not quite top class !!

No wifi, no hot water, but also, no stress ♥️ The only ‘noise’ were the waves crashing into the sand, & the occasional cow. Days were ‘busy’ with rocking in a hammock, drinking cocktails, & enjoying delicious seafood. The menu was dictated by what the fishermen caught that day, & as a result, was exceptionally fresh &, thanks to their chef, exceptionally tasty. The owners & everyone who works there are so so kind & friendly, had there not been a pandemic I would have hugged them all when we left! Know that the shower was a bit like hose-from-wall, & the beds were quite small (my 186cm partner struggled), but in the end that didn’t even matter. This is the ultimate de-stress & disconnect destination. Thank you Playa Kai ♥️

At Awatawaa, you will wake up to the chirping of the birds and go to sleep with the lullaby of the ocean's waves. A lifting of the spirit not to be forgotten. Each one of our teak wood cabins was built by local craftsmen. They are characterized by its perfect organic harmony with the mangroves.
