Reviewed By Akorim MQuaint and comfortable! Spent the most amazing 3 nights here! About a 5 minute slow drive from the Magaret Ekpo Intl Airport, Calabar. You are met with a clean, welcoming and super affordable lodging. With a decent detached bar and swimming pool area. An island hotel experience somewhat. A genuinely friendly receptionist and wonderful staff who listen. (A slight issue with my room tv, and it was replaced when I pointed it out). Rooms have this affrocentric appeal, 24/7 power and are clean! Will definitely stay here again and recommend to others.

Reviewed By Станислав ФСам отель ничем особым не примечателен. Ресторан при отеле очень неплох. Цены разумные. Большая площадка, где вечером живая музыка и танцы. Народу, особенно по выходным, очень много. На живом огне готовят мясо и рыбу под заказ.

Reviewed By Niyi_DavidDuring the Yuletide season, it's difficult to get good accommodation in Calabar if you don't book early ahead. With an influx of international and local tourists into the city to be part of "Africa's Biggest Street Party," it's not hard to see why this is so. However, with Carnival Calabar not held for the second year in a row due to Covid-19, the city was less frenetic as it should have been this period. I spent 3 nights at Axari Hotels & Suites and I can say, it was a good experience. The property has great facilities. The staff was friendly. The ambience was neat and serene. 24hr power supply. It was a great experience.

Reviewed By Niyi_DavidThe location of the hotel is quiet and serene. The hotel itself is nice. Food was good and the staff were friendly. The swimming pool is small but nice and clean. There's a gym, which needs an upgrade, but then perhaps the hotel doesn't get too much patrons needing those facility. The room is nice and cozy. Air-conditioning works well. Bathroom was okay. I had a problem with the shower in my room, but it was fixed when I mentioned it to Front Desk. I do believe the hotel has potential to be well ahead of its present state. It's a place I definitely will visit again.

Reviewed By Mukul SI have stayed in almost all famous hotels in Calabar be it Tinapa, Transcorp, Channel view, Pearl etc but this hotel is the beat if all. Absolutely great staff with smile on the face. They make the stay so comfortable and customised to your need, that you feel like at home. On special requests they allow to access the kitchen, which BTW is spotless. Nice Lounge: they have great Lounge to sit in open , it's terrific if raining.

Reviewed By tropicalleafI almost tolerated everything NEGATIVE about this accommodation as all one needs after a hectic tiring long day was a good night's rest to recover... the room costs about 15,000N. The sheets were not clean at all! Stained and smelled! uggh... I wonder if they change sheets when a guest leaves the hotel? It was a catastrophe in the bathroom, leaks everywhere! No toilet seat, visible molds! No toilet paper and towels? had to call for toilet paper and towels at 12MN-... after shower the whole bathroom was under water! called again to ask for floor towels to dry my feet - in the end they recommended the VIP room which has a rack rate of about 30,000N. Checked it and the sheets looked and smelled more fresh and the room was massive with a receiving room... so I agreed to move at 1AM! The bathroom however had the same story, leaks everywhere and visible molds and no toilet seat! Service was the SLOWEST! Waiting time for food to be served is minimum 1 hour! Every morning I ordered coffee which was ready in not least than 45 minutes! The only thing that I can say was good is their goat pepper soup...

I had to stay for one night
Reviewed By deewhyjoeLooking back on it I can now laugh but at the time it was terrible. When we arrived the hotel looked ok and was clean enough in the communal areas. In my room it was frankly disgusting! I like to have a firm mattress but the bed was hard as a board and there were insects crawling over the floor. In the bathroom the sink leaked and when I leant on it whilst brushing my teeth the sink fell off of the wall. While having a shower there is a window into the communal corridor which meant that people could see you if you were stood up in the bath having a shower. There is a night club next door, only a few metres next door and this is quite apparent being able to hear it until the club closes. I would not stay here again if that was not apparent.
