Nothing but Welcoming and feeling right at home!

Reviewed By s000977

Booked in for a weekend stay with my partner. From the moment we arrived, we were pleasantly greeted by Paul, the owner. He was very friendly and made you feel right at home, with always checking to see if you had everything you needed from towels, to tea and milk! The spare milks and teabags were at the reception which was very handy. The room we stayed in was perfectly clean, and really comfy beds. The room was heated just nicely and not once did we feel cold. The grounds were very well kept and beautifully lit at night. Not to mention the incredible views from the B&B! Perfect location literally 4 minutes walk from the town. I would come back here in a heartbeat and cannot wait to book out next stay here! Highly recommend!

Peter and Irene were perfect hosts. Property was bang in centre of Carlingford so only a short walk to all amenities. Stunning old building but with modern bedrooms. You can park on site. Breakfast isnt provided but cafes very close by. Peter said we could leave our car in car park whilst we stroll into town for brekkie. We only needed a bed as we were at a wedding round the corner at Four Seasons Hotel and it was the most cofiest bed we could have got. Will stay again for sure.

One hour and half wait for food

Reviewed By gabrielagP8145ZA

We had to wait over an hour for our food. On a Tuesday night.. and it wasnt even busy. Apparently they were understaffed in the kitchen but a heads up When ordering would be great because we would definitely be gone somewhere else. No one even came to apologise for the long wait time, they just did when we actually complained about it. Food was okay. Totally not worth the wait tho.

Highlands B&B never fails to impress

We stayed a night on October bank holiday weekend 2019, having stayed previously on two other occasions in Summer 2019 at the Highlands B&B. It is a most comfortable B&B, spotlessly clean with great hospitaity and gorgeous breakfast. I have no hesitation in recommending this B&B - it is a most impressive place to stay with breathtaking views of Carlingford Lough.
