Location is very strategic to the different restaurant, beer garden and very close to Burghausen castle. If you’re visiting Burghausen, this is the best place to stay. Worth the money that you’re spending.

Great location and great breakfast
Reviewed By AlirezaSGHaving stayed at Dormero for our business meeting in town, we found the rooms of adequate size and clean. The receptionists were also friendly and very welcoming. The best part of our stay was the breakfast. The range of the items available was fantastic. From freshly prepared hot items to breads, museli and coffee to the sausages and meatballs. We were impressed by the freshness of the breakfast items. The only part of the stay that we had to reduce the point was the lack of aircon in the room. We were only given one small fan which apparently was not adequate at night. We had to leave the windows open but ended up being attacked by mosquitoes and ants. Therefore I recommend the management to at least provide the customers with additional fans specially during hot summer days. Other than that we recommend this hotel and please don’t forget the breakfast.

Reviewed By John SThis is a very interesting place to stay and is steeped in history. The hotel section of this old monastery is beautiful and the rooms very well fitted out with modern bathrooms and beautifully fitted out. This hotel is so peaceful and quite I want to go back and relax there for a few days. Also important in these areas is that they have mosquito netting on the Windows. Close to the amazing town of Burghausen for a days visit.

Spotlessly clean, warm rooms, super comfy beds, AMAZING chef-prepared food, and one of the best views imaginable of the world's longest castle (a short walk away) across the valley. The whole team went out of their way to make sure our stay was just right. We booked for one night, stayed for three... Wished it was more!

Zimmer in Ordnung, Location sehr gut und die Gastgeberin sehr freundlich

Es gibt ein mehr oder minder funktionierendes W-Lan und Nachts leider etwas Lärm von der angrenzenten Diskothek (Knoxoleum), aber alles im grünen Bereich -> also kein Ibiza. Wenn man auch nicht allzu genau in den Ecken sieht (Spinnennetze), dann ist das Zimmer sauber und modern eingerichtet. Die ganze Pension hat mich ein bisschen an eine WG erinnert: 5 separate Zimmer (jeweils mit eigenem WC und Dusche) rundherum um einen Gemeinschaftsbereich in dem es eine Küche und zwei Frühstückstische gibt. Die Pension Nr. 5 in der Altstadtpension hat sogar einen separaten Eingang ;) -> sehr praktisch. Das Frühstück ist schlicht, aber sehr gut. Es gibt verschiedene Wurstvariationen (Salami, Schinken, Schwarzwälder, Krakauer) sowie Nutellaaufstrich, versch. Marmeladen und Honig. Kaffee und Tee gibt es zu trinken, sowie Orangensaft und Mineralwasser. Alles ist frisch und wird täglich frisch gemacht. Die Location ist mitten in den Grüben, direkt neben der Kultbar Knoxoleum. Doppelzimmer mit Frühstück gibt es um 69€ / Zimmer. Die Gastgebern macht einen sehr freundlichen Eindruck und hilft auch überall dort wo sie kann. Wenn ihr gerne etwas unternehmen wollt, fragt die werte Dame, sie wird euch bestimmt weiterhelfen! Einziges Manko: Es war etwas kalt im Zimmer (leider zentral gesteuert), tagsüber und Nachts. Hier eventuell weniger sparen oder individualisieren. Jeder hat ein anderes empfinden, bei 5 Zimmer kann man da schwierig das "Mittel" finden. Also wir werden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen und können die Unterkunft klar empfehlen. PS: Es gibt zwei Garagen (beide kostenlos) in nächster Nähe. Eine am Hauptplatz (näher zur Unterkunft) und noch eine in der anderen Richtung der Grüben.
