Gave us the breakfast room for the parents to visit so we wouldnt keep any other guests up. They were great with the kids and made friends with them. Lawrence was on it all the time he was busy checking the hallways and delivering blankets.

Reviewed By Prairiecrocus577Clean rooms, comfortable beds, friendly check in staff. Extremely good breakfast. This Super 8 is located right on the # 1 highway so is easy to get on and off. There is a funky little place called Albert's that is close by that has excellent prime rib.

Reviewed By Doug TWe were only there for 1 night but the suite was spacious. Beds were comfortable, rooms were clean. The continental breakfast was satisfying with some hot items included. Very convenient to restaurants within walking distance. Would definitely stay again.

Reviewed By Thomas EI stayed here for four nights for work. It's a great place to stay, very close to restaurants and shopping. There are a lot of great restaurants and shops just on 18th street, so its super convenient. The staff are always very helpful and friendly. Great service, good food.

Comfort Inn Brandon has newly renovated the front desk and lobby area which now includes a 24 hour business centre, sitting area and fireplace. All rooms are equipped with fridges, microwaves, free high speed internet and flat screen television. Dine in our new breakfast room & enjoy your free hot breakfast that includes eggs, sausage or bacon, waffles, fresh fruit, breads, yogurt, cereal and juice. The hotel is located just off the Transcanada Hwy1 (watch for the yellow airplane) and ideally located within 15 minutes of all businesses such as the Keystone Centre and Brandon University. Melt into bed with new Yours Truly bedding. We are pet friendly and offer ground floor rooms with a walk in patio door. A new level of Comfort!
Worst customer service ever
Reviewed By Sabrina HThe general manager is argumentative and uncompassionate. The employees are very poorly trained which isn't surprising after speaking to the manager. Horrible communication between employees led to us being woke up after driving 20 hours to be told we will be charged extra. The gentleman informed us when we checked in at 7am that we would be OK to have a late check out at 2pm. We were woke up at noon and threatened with extra charges. When speaking to the manager about the situation he commented that they are not an hourly hotel (insinuating we are hookers?) I have 10 years experience at excellent hotels and have never seen such horrible customer service. We were arriving from a funeral exhausted. I would not recommend staying here and hope that the employees can get some better training from someone who has experience to actually be in the manager position.

Things we liked: room was a decent size, it was very convenient to where we were visiting family, you could open the window, quiet, large shower, breakfast - food, was really good. Things we didn't like; room was not clean asked them to vacuum, 3 times (dog food and popcorn on floor), mirrors and tv screen streaking and dirty , shower nozzles were difficult to operate, asked for towels twice and did not get them - one of the towels looked dirty, lamp shade broken, service in restaurant was poor and LAST BUT NOT LEAST, my vehicle was hit the second night in the parking lot.

Some upgrades needed
Reviewed By Dennis MHadn't been in this hotel for 20 years and although the name has changed - not much else has. The front reception has been upgraded as well as the lounge and restaurant. The rooms have had some upgrades but were pretty much the same. I did like the heated floors in the bathrooms and the walk-in showers. The mattresses need to be rotated and the desk chair was broken. The water slide and hot tube weren't working when we got there, but they did get somebody there about 1 hour after we called it in. All in all - it was okay.
