Reviewed By PDoskoOnly for one night, with late arrival and early morning departure, but.... Super Spa, with heated outside pool next to Bodensee, sauna world also nice... Room for one night was o.k. Breakfast - please make some time reserve, because this breakfast with lake view, takes some time... I’ve been here not for last time.

Reviewed By Aleksejs PLiked · Location is wonderful, and the breakfast experience on the sunny morning, overlooking the lake was fantastic! (so that the food and the service!). Room was spacious, and even it was facing the backyard, we still love it and the modern feel and comfort it offered, plus a very large terrace. The hotel is very fresh and modern, reception was ultra friendly at both check-in and check-outs. We booked this place as in-transit overnight, between doing Mainau island the day one, and then going to Rheinfalls Swiss on day two - and it was super comfortable and convinient stop-over..! Disliked · We weren't able to book the hotel's restaurant for the dinner, so they suggested another one, down path to the lake - it was so-so, and while no issues with food (tasty!), the service was mediocre. Not the hotel fault, of course, just mentioning for the future guests. The parking was a bit tricky to find, so we used street parking 300m meters further (was lucky to find the space!). I didn't understood how to use hotel garage and there is absolutely no space to park in front of the hotel entry, even for a couple of minutes.

Reviewed By Faxpatwe arrived in the area over the Easter weekend, with nothing books. Most places were booked up, and those that weren't were charging an arm and a leg. We found this hotel by accident, its a very well run 3 star hotel, that wasn't out to rip off tourists over a bank holiday weekend

Due to the nearby Motorway connection to Stuttgart, Schaffhausen and Zurich, the hotel is well appreciated by business travellers as well as tourists.All rooms and suites are modern and tastefully furnished. Selected rooms with a balcony have a wonderful view over Ueberlinger Lake.A rich breakfast is inclusive in the room rate, half board can be booked additionally.A conference room as well as a parking garage are available.
Not great for business traveller....
Reviewed By Lcm43....because the wifi never works properly. The same situation occoured the last time I stayed for business but I had managed to forget and booked the hotel again. Once again, impossible to use the wifi with a laptop, which is infuriating when you need to work at the hotel during your stay. Receptionist was unable to help, same as the last occasion. I will not stay here again for this reason.

Reviewed By FichtelgebirgeTolles Cafe mit sehr guter Auswahl an hausgemachten Torten, Kuchen und Eis. Restaurant mit klasse Salaten, Fisch und Fleisch. Die Bedienungen sind leider sehr unterschiedlich hinsichtlich Freundlichkeit und Professionalität. Die Zimmer sind älter, aber sauber. Bequeme Matratzen. Die Begrüßung durch die Chefin war überaus herzlich. Das Frühstücksbuffet lässt keine Wünsche offen. Der größte und einzigste Kritikpunkt ist die Lage direkt neben einer kleinen Bootswerft. Nur durch eine Hecke getrennt wird man schon früh morgens von den Arbeitsgeräuschen der Werft geweckt. Wer gerne früh aufsteht, für den ist diese Pension erste Wahl. Wer gerne ausschläft (so wie wir) hat leider verloren.

Breakfast is provided, and if you are staying on there are plenty of tempting restaurants in Bodman for lunch or dinner. The owners are very welcoming and helpful.

Reviewed By Rickymint1952On Sunday 26th July I flew out to Zurich in Switzerland and was met by my old friend who had his car and had been visiting various places in Germany and Poland. We drove to Gasthaus Traube where he had booked accommodation for us, and I can honestly say it was most friendly and appealing. The town of Bodman-Ludwigshafen is in the Bavarian Region of Southern Germany on the shore of Lake Konstanz and the whole area is beautiful. Gasthaus Traube is well presented and staffed by friendly people who welcome you. The rooms are very clean and the breakfast is top notch. Highly recommended
