good hotel; misses some ambiance
Reviewed By knolpaNo relevant remarks about this nice hotel. Good breakfast, rooms have a good size, location is ok (but not very close to the nice Rugen coastline). The night we stayed there, 3 busses with tourists were staying at the hotel (without causing overload in the breakfast area). The nearby village (Bergen) does not have much to offer, so it would have been nice if the hotel would have had an "internal" attraction. The lobby areas are large enough to do such a thing (e.g. a cosy bar area, ...),

Good hotel to explore Isle of Ruegen
Reviewed By irj52If you don't like yellow, then don't stay here! Even the toilet paper is yellow! Good sized bedroon & bathroom. Bed comfortable. Mini-bar in room & stocked. Clean & comfortable. Staff good & helpful, although not alot of English. Approx 500m from railway station. Breakfast very good. Restaurant very good with most meals around 10 euros. Good centre for exploring the Isle of Ruegen & 'Roland', the narrow guage steam railway.

Reviewed By marcusp626Nice location, well maintained property. Cozy restaurant with good breakfast buffet. We stayed in the 2nd floor Sued room. The room’s door is in the stairway it is ver loud in the early morning since the service entrance of the hotel is at the bottom of the staircase. A better, soundproof door would probably help here. No parking on premises but lots of parking some 100m away.

Family run hotel in the middle of Bergen
Reviewed By PeterEijsboutsWe had room 502 on the top floor of the annex building. It was very spacious and had also a spacious bathroom, bed was comfortable, room was very clean, wifi was of good and stable quality. The rooms have recently had a makeover and stil there are some points that need some extra attention, e.g. the curtains in the bathroom. We discussed this with the owners and they told us they intended to do this after peak season. Owners where very helpfull in providing info about the surroundings and wehere to rent a bike Breakfast is in a buffet style and has a lot of choices, hot and cold. Again a small point of attention, breakfast times are between 7:30 and 9:30, especially the 9:30 is a bit early in my opinion, breakfast room was there a bit crowdy. All in all we had a nice stay. The hotel is certainly a place you could return to. Hotel also has a free of charge parkinglot which is only about 300 m on foot .

Reviewed By OrchiddeGrootAppartement is prima voor vier personen en hond. helemaal compleet. Sleutel haal je bij naburig hotel, verder heb je met niemand iets te maken. Ligging heel centraal. Wel met de auto komen, er is niets in de buurt.

Finger weg von Gartenzimmer Nr. 3!
Reviewed By DeSiCeGartenzimmer Nr. 3 entspricht Nicht den Angaben und ist NICHT zu empfehlen! Positiv: Lage der Pension ist gut. Altstadt von Bergen Fußläufig 10 Minuten den leichten Berg rauf. In der Nähe ist eine Bushaltestelle, in alle Richtungen, sehr praktisch. Frühstück ist vielmehr Mittelklasse! Negativ: Gartenzimmer Nr. 3 ist definitiv nicht zu empfehlen, warum? 1. angegebene Daten über Zimmergröße waren nicht richtig! Es ist ein kleines "Loch", mehr fällt mir dazu nicht ein. Angegeben sind 28qm, dass Zimmer hat hochgerechnet max. 15/17qm! 2. Angaben über Ausstattung ebenfalls nicht richtig! Eine Steckdose in Bettnähe kann man vergeblich suchen. Es gibt mitten im Raum eine Steckdose, das ist auch alles. Um sein Handy aufladen zu können, braucht man einen Stuhl zur Ablage. 3. Die jeweils am Bett angebrachten Leselampen sind an der Wand völlig unprofessionell befestigt! Es wackelt mächtig, eine der Lampen hat Wackelkontakt und keine Abdeckung! Mit anderen Worten: die Birne hängt frei über den Kopf!!! Mehr muß man dazu nicht sagen... 4. Die Gardinen im Zimmer sind dreckig und gehören gewaschen! Pfui, ich ekelte mich jeden Tag, diese zu berühren. Es ist nötig die Gardinen zu schließen/öffnen, da das Zimmer sonst sehr transparent ist. 5. Das Zimmer ist so klein, dass, wenn man sich auf eins der ungemütlichen Sessel setzt, etwa 1.5 mtr Abstand zum Fernseher hat! 6. Es gibt zwei voneinander getrennte (in L-Form) Einzelbetten. Das eine Bett ist völlig unbrauchbar, die Matratze ist komplett durchgelegen. Als ich mich darauf setzte, hat es eine U-Form angenommen. 7. Der Laminatboden hat an einigen Stellen Luft zwischen Belag und Boden. Auch wenn der Besitzer meint, es wäre normal, habe ich meine Schwierigkeiten das zu glauben. Jeder, der schon mal über Laminat gegangen ist, weiß, wie es sich anfühlt. Fairerweise muß ich auch sagen, zumindest was die Gartenzimmer betrifft, dass dies diejenige ist, die anscheinend stiefmütterlich behandelt wird. Ich habe bei Nr. 2 mal kurz reingeschaut, entspricht den Beispiel-Fotos zu dieser Kategorie! Ein Entgegenkommen geschweige denn eine Entschuldigung hat das Unternehmerpaar für nicht nötig gehalten! Sehr unprofessionell! Dabei sind 75€ für solch einen "Zimmer" nicht grad günstig. Ich werde immer einen Bogen um dieses Haus machen. @ Hr. Manthei: dieses Zimmer ist eine Zumutung. Ich glaube, auch Sie würden ungern darin übernächtigen wollen. Und: korrigieren Sie die Angaben, bevor noch ein weiterer Gast mit einer großen Enttäuschung konfrontiert wird!

Reviewed By c0ugar1963Di passaggio nel tardo pomeriggio ed in cerca di una sistemazione per la notte abbiamo notato il cartello zimmer frei e ci siamo fermati. Ci è stata assegnata una camera spaziosa con tanto di salottino e dotata di tutto il necessario; essendo fuori dal centro abitato abbiamo approfittato anche del ristorante per assaggiare una buona pizza e un secondo di carne. La colazione ci è stata servita su di un vassoio contenete salato e dolce (marmellata, pane caldo, uovo sodo, affettati e formaggio, caffè) ed una mela. Personale cortese e disponibile.
