Reviewed By Susan WBeautiful setting. Excellent hosts who went beyond most hotels to make our stay truly memorable. Not only did Christian print out routes for us when we wanted to visit the steam train, He took us to the station and picked us up. He attended to our every need , asking if we required anything different at breakfast and supplying anything requested. Rooms were airy , clean and showers were wonderful. A truly lovely place that I would recommend to everyone

We are not the Hilton! We run a very friendly, homely B&B for bikers and you will not find better hospitality anywhere! It doesn't matter where you come from, what you ride, how long you've been riding, what your interests are and what language you speak. Bikers keep coming back to us because we really do know how look after them! We offer guided tours on request.
The Best Biker Hotel I've ever visited
Reviewed By Rob BWe've stayed here once or twice a year for 12 years now. Peter and Corinna are now family to us. Always a warm and friendly welcome whether it's your first visit or you have been many times. Excellent breakfasts will fill you up for a days riding around the fantastic Harz mountains roads. I can't recommend this hotel enough. If you haven't visited the area and you ride a bike you should, you won't be disappointed with the area or the hotel.

The Hotel-Pension Jagerstieg: Cosy double rooms or single rooms (family room with two bedrooms possible) for a resin-.Urlaub sophisticated ambience. Tasteful furnishings and bathrooms with shower / WC, balcony. All board room, the dining room (restaurant) and the swimming pool are easily accessible via elevator. The apartment building is directly opposite the Pension: our apartments and bungalows offer peace and generous living in your resin holidays with children. They are ideal for family holidays in the resin (two adults and two children); equipped with free patio or balcony, shower / WC and a small kitchenette. There are also apartments with two bedrooms or interconnected apartments booking (surcharge). The central location allows you a comfortable journey for your family vacation. There is nothing better than to swim before breakfast, while the sun glistens on the water. You can reach our pool accessible by lift and have a wonderful view over the surrounding countryside. For Wellness and Fitness our houseguests are a generous indoor pool (6m x 10m) with large panoramic windows and sauna. Massage & beauty treatments can largely be perceived within our company and can be booked individually. Cheap Accommodation with swimming pool and program Excursions, city tours and nature. So the holidays with children should be planned in the resin. Your dog, you can also bring free of charge!

Reviewed By DonBerlin*** for English see below *** Familie Fischer geht die Extrameile für die Gäste: schon der Anruf zum Reservieren war aussergewöhnlich freundlich, wir sind aber auch zum Reservieren gekommen ;) Wir konnten problemlos später anreise als angegeben und haben auch zu späterer Stunde die Hausführung bekommen. Das Gebäude ist alt, aber die Fischers haben schon einige behutsame Änderungen vorgenommen und sind noch dabei. Die Zimmer sind gemütlich und sehr sauber. Das Frühstück war super. In der Gegend: fahren Sie hierher, wenn Sie tolle Gastgeber schätzen! Family Fischer goes out of their way to make guests feel special: the telephone call when making the reservation was already outstanding in friendliness while still 'getting it done'. It was no problem to arrive later than stated in the reservation and we still got the grand tour of the hotel at this later hour. It is an old building but the Fischers have already made many subtle changes and are always at it. The rooms are cosy and very clean. We loved the breakfast. If in the area: stay here if you like great hosts!

The Parkhotelflora is located in the western part of the harzer mountains in Bad Grund . Only 12 Kilometers far from the Autobahn „A 7 exit Seesen“ is it the perfect base for your holiday to explore the Harz with his fables and rumours around witches and dwarfs. The hotel has 20 Rooms 17 of them are 42 sqm appartements with one bed and livingroom. 3 Of them are 70 sqm appartements with two bedrooms and two bathrooms and one living room. Perfect for familys ore two couples. All oft hem have a terrasse or balkony. Featured with 32“ Flat TV, W-LAN, full equiped kitchen. The Sofas in the livingroom are useable for an bed couch.

Reviewed By wrlamb2011On a motorcycle tour in the Harz mountains and found this very nice apartment hotel. One bedroom, sitting room and kitchen diner with balcony. Very clean and nicely furnished. Family run, friendly with an extensive breakfast buffet. Very good value at 85 euros per night. Ideally located for some great biking roads.

Good hotel at the top of Bad Grund
Reviewed By NordgaardThis hotel has good and large rooms most with access to a very nice terrace with excellent view over the town. The owner has a dog, so our dog was very welcome. We had an excellent breakfast and there is a fridge with beer and sodas at reasonable prices. No restaurant, but you find sevceral options in the town below. We will use this place again.

Waiting more than an hour for a simple lunch
Reviewed By 992martins992The service is exceptionally slow. We had to wait for more than an hour for a simple salat and a currywurst. This is simply not good enough! If this is the standard here I wouldadvise to go some place else.

A lovely location but not such a warm welcome
Reviewed By pobzypaulaThe location of this hotel is beautiful with some fantastic forest walks surrounding it. The hotel itself is clean with a rustic feel and has a fairytale charm. Unfortunately for us we must have caught the owner on a bad day as when we arrived we could not find anyone around, there were no signs to say where the owner was, so we decided to go for a walk and come back later, when we returned for the second time we could still not find anyone to check us in, we had looked all around. Eventually we decided to phone the property and the owner answered saying he had been in all afternoon. We thought it was a bit strange that he did not hear us as we had made some noise trying to find someone and knocked on a lot of doors, but anyway we thought maybe it was just some crossed wires. So we go inside to check in, the owner is really very frosty with us and we get the feeling we are not so welcome, so we think to ourselves just forget him and enjoy our holiday, which we did. On leaving the owner was again frosty and did not really want to chat with us, and it just basically felt that he did not like us, so we where like oh whell, it was a nice place but we wont be coming back as we did not like the frosty uncomfortable atmosphere. Its funny how a lot of the reviews say the owner was friendly, who knows maybe it was just a bad day or so, but for us it was not really a polite way to treat your guests, so I guess we don't return, which is a shame because it would have been a good place to go back to.

Personal hotel in very quiet town

We got a warm welcome by the owner and he arrange for another room to better fit us, very service-minded and helpful. The room was spacious and clean, although the style of the room is a little outdated. The extra beds was a little harder than the regular one, all clean and nice. The breakfast was very good and served in a personal style with some local specialties. We had dinner at a local restaurant down the street. Perfect for an over-night stay off the autobahn.
