Very nice hotel

Close to the center (appr. 2 minute walk) and ideal if you want to visit the local market on Sunday: it is right in front of your door! The staff is very friendly and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable, we had room 2 with own bathroom. We had our dinner in the hotel. No need to go elsewhere. Very tasty and freshly prepared. So if you have plans to visit Bac Ha, you certainly must consider this hotel.

Our home is is very nice and quiet. And with the idea of sharing it with everyone, especially with the tourists coming to Bac Ha. I designed and expanded my home so that it became an ideal getaway for travelers. There are 4 private rooms (Especially with a wooden family room, very spacious clay walls with nice views and a small pool.) and spacious garden areas and services, such as breakfast, dinner (eat with our family), information on places to visit and sightseeing tours. Huy Trung Homestay is definitely a good choice for visitors when coming to Bac Ha. Best regards Huy Trung
Best place to learn more about the local culture
Reviewed By DorinalouMy and my dad had a super nice 2 day stay at Huy Trung Homestay in Bac Ha. The house with garden is really nice and clean, the rooms comfortable and cosy with a lot of space. We arrived after a long journey and were welcomed with a cup of tea by the incredibly nice family ? Trung, his wife, the 2 daughters and his mother are super nice and, in the evening, we had a delicious dinner all together in the family kitchen. The next day, Trung was a wonderful tour guide and showed us the surrounding area with his Jeep. He showed us around local villages, told us about their culture and knew the perfect spots to see rice terrasses and beautiful landscapes. Perfect, if you want to learn more about the local culture! We enjoyed our stay from the first minute and recommend it 100% ?

Very good for the hiker or rambler market
Reviewed By GeorgeAyleshamVery good value for money - certainly neither a luxury nor a boutique hotel and pretty basic. But everything worked (except the television). Clean and with a surprising range of freebies in the bathroom - but thin towels. However very difficult for disabled travellers mainly because of the steep staircases, some without banisters. The breakfast (served at table) was generous so all in all, well worth the price.

I loved being in the peaceful nature setting, yet close enough to town and hiking. I loved staying here and hope to visit again one day.

Reviewed By billw310We stopped here for lunch after visiting the Bac Ha market... one of the best meals we have had in Vietnam! All the food is grown locally and incredibly tasty. Sa’s House is traditional and with lovely surroundings. Everyone is very friendly and speak good English. I am sure it would make a great homestay as well.

From the start to the beginning, they did everything they could to help us have the best conveniences and relaxation during our stay and travel. They provided meals either and it was super local and tasty. I had to say it was very “homey”. They have a garden which has plenty of strawberries which are delicious. The room was simple but clean and cozy. The shared bathroom was clean too. I enjoyed my stay here so much that I have to recommend all the people get to Bac Ha. Great base for BAC Ha market and Treks to the north
Reviewed By ColettClean comfortable stay with with friendly helpful hosts. Great location right on the edge of the market. The host speaks some English and is happy to organise anything you need ( taxi, bus, guide, laundry etc).
