Excellent Stay at IC Hofuf
Reviewed By omey01we book 2 connected rooms at the newley renovated club rooms . the rooms are fancy and the service level is excellent . my stay was during ramdhan and eid so we enjoy our stay tonspend some time with family and friends in AlAhssa. for sure inwill stay again at Intercont AlHassa on my next trios. finally thanks for Rania and Ahlam at reception for their support and aervice to satisfy my requests.

Worst Hotel Ever!
Reviewed By faisalaB8528FC15 years of traveling. This I can tell the worst hotel ever. BTW first bad review in my life. I got the royal suit and believe me nothing royal about it. only the price. Management of the hotel get the money in advance and then they show you the other face.

Good hotel but lacks character
Reviewed By jadmiAl Ahsa Grand Hotel is a 5 star (more like a 4 star) hotel located across from King Faisal University and walking distance to restaurants (TGIF is next door). There is ample free outside parking along with a free hotel underground parking. The hotel is fairly new ( about 5 years old). It is no longer part of the Best Western Hotel Chain. The medium size lobby is bright, airy and has plenty of sitting. The hotel façade is all glass. The décor looks dated (think of a hotel your parents or grandparents might have stayed at) even though the hotel is fairly new. Check in was personable as you sit down when you check in which I find more relaxing and upscale. As in all places in Saudi Arabia, face masks are mandatory throughout the hotel along with temperature check upon entering the hotel. The hotel has only suites with a small living room, open bedroom style and kitchenette where you can cook. It also looked dated but was very clean and well kept. The bathroom was on the smaller size with a shower. Free water and reliable internet was provided. There is an indoor pool with set hours (opens at 4pm on Fridays). The buffet breakfast is served from 0700 to 1030 on the top floor with great views of Al Ahsa. The variety and quality of the food was ok. There were made to order pancakes and eggs but no fresh juice. Oddly, there were 2 different machines that made coffee. All in all, it was satisfying but nothing special. The owner also owns a date farm (Al Ahsa is famous for its' dates) and dates and Arabic tea is available free upon check in before the elevators. If you want to purchase gift boxes ( a roll-up sign and a price list is in the lobby), just order it from reception 24 hours in advance and it'll be delivered to the hotel. Unlike other reviews, I found the service to be professional and helpful- just get a receptionist that can speak English well-there is always 1 available). Housekeeping will provide extra towels and water upon request. Even though this hotel lacks character, the rooms are good size, clean, and comfortable. The location is convenient. Defiantly, a place I would return to despite the décor. FYI, book directly with the hotel for a better price than what you can find on the internet.

Reviewed By Britt69£50 per night???? What a joke. Windows screwed closed. Lifts that don't work. Absolutely run down. A lot of noisy Indian workmen use the place on a regular basis. Staff unhelpful. Never ever again. Rooms not cleaned. Need I go on?

Reviewed By Ivan SPer un turista questo albergo è perfetto perché la sua posizione è perfetta. Alle spalle del Palazzo Ibrahim e a due passi dal centro. Le camere sono spaziose, con presenza di bollitore, acqua calda e wifi funzionante.
