Reviewed By Tourist238879I have been staying in hotel President Therme in Abano year after year for the past 14 years, Having missed last two years due to pandemic, my return this year couldn’t have been more special and emotional. Greeted by remaining staff so warmly, it truly felt like returning home. Special thanks, as always, goes to Marco. Also to Stefania in spa reception, Nicola in reception and, of course, Mauro, the head waiter and the rest of hard-working waiters and waitresses. I also feel that food has gone up a notch as well, deserts as always superb. Looking forward to next year.

Reviewed By cprozaliaI had absolutely fantastic stay at the hotel. Right after I entered the foyer I was greeted at the reception by Elisaveta. It was remarkable how accommodating, attentive,clearly and quick check-in she completed. I received from Elisaveta the maximum information about my room and other necessary start-up information as well as my special food requirements were carefully noted and passed on to the restaurant. For later inquiries at the reception, Elisaveta has also helped extremely effectively, among other things with extending my stay at the hotel by another week because I really liked the place, the service - impeccable cleaning in the room, professional and sweet waiters in the restaurant, spa with a good manager Valentina and masseur Marco-fantastico. I only have to say: thank you MiPezzatto!!

Reviewed By MarkOk9750Got this place at pure chance, initially booked for 2 nights but ended up for 3 as it was so good. Stayed in the pod section of the hotel which works out at about 30€ a night with buffet breakfast and thermal pool access. The pod was grand, very modern had your own little space, lights and curtain. Locker underneath the as big enough for plenty baggage ! Shower and bathroom was also very stylish though unfortunately very dirty when I arrived.. The pool was a great size and warmth, went here in the evenings about 10-11.30 as it was usual quiet. The breakfast is from 7-11 I believe, with a wide variety of stuff !! Everything you could imagine and more… even vodka / rum etc for your coffee if that’s your interest ! This place is definitely more of a hotel feel than a hostel but for 30€ a night I think it seals the deal in being superb for any backpacker / living cheap while wanting luxury ! The only down sides to this place is the pods are very stuffy and warm. The rooms are also quite dusty, and bathrooms were always left in a mess even after people checked out.. Despite these little flaws, 30€ was a great bargain for me on my travels with a budget ! I would recommend this place to others for a relaxing time and solid base to visit other cities Padova / Venice etc.

Reviewed By Reuben AIt was our 1st stay at a wellness spa. The facility as such is pretty well renovated and is definitely impressive especially the wellness area. The lobby, bar and dining area's decoration are not our taste. It caters slightly to the taste of middle of the line or oligarchs. We found staff well-trained and very helpful. Many of them are 2nd generation Moldovians educated in Italy. The hotel was hit by low occcupancy and we felt as being private guests in the vast pools area and surroundings. Hosekeeping is excellent. Food is good although within a two weeks stay you get across some boring courses. Steaks were not up to a 5-star restaurant. They were usually on the dry side. Salads were rather monotonous. Desserts were very good. The hotel is highly generous as far as towels are concerned but we were extra charged when asking bathrobes to be changed within a week. Bathrobes being used after massages even after laundry still carry a heavy oil scent. All in all the hotel merits a 5-star tally with the exception of a few minor issues: plastic cups in the rooms, the bathroom accessories are rather limited, the bill is handed over wihout an envelope, the written material about hotel services and prices is limited or almost non-existent. These are petty points which seem to characterize a newly renovated and managed place and do not affect the overall impresion which is very good and we had a wonderful stay and enjoyed the offered range of treatments.

Reviewed By europelover26A solid five-star hotel across the entire board from cleanliness to facilities. The hotel recalls the ambience of a true grand hotel in a prime location on the footsteps of the center of Abano. What we particularly noted here was how immaculately clean the spa and wellness area was kept as well as attention to detail by the fantastic staff from the reception to the restaurant; everyone is extremely motivated and service orientated. Francesco, Marta, Danilea and the young second Maitre Giuseppe were truly noteworthy. Front desk staff were all talented, professional and multilingual professionals switching between English, Italian, German, Russian and French effortlessly. Before Covid the hotel was renowned for their grand buffets at breakfast and dinner but that has been taken away from. I actually enjoyed having no antipasti buffet as you do not go to bed stuffed and over ate! Service on the first morning breakfast was painfully slow but after around 08am more staff arrived and smoothness resorted. We would also like to thank the service staff for their care and attention to our request for lunch and dinner room service due to illness. Other points to relish around the hotel was the lush and enormous gardens, the intimate our door dining areas, the bikes to rent, e-car charging but note the gym is dated but functional. Highlight was definitely the staff. We would recommend and cannot wait to return.

Reviewed By Ted AVery grumpy, rude man at front desk, checking in and out were nightmares. The pool was too cool. Huge everything: restaurant, pool, but poorly staffed. Food was barely edible. Elevators were so slow there were lines to take one. No bellhop. There’s more, but suffice it to say, AVOD THIS PLACE. And maybe avoid this tacky town, too.

The AbanoRitz Thermae and Wellness hotel is a charming hotel in Abano Terme, at the foot of the Euganean Hills, just 10km from Padua and 40km from Venice. There are 3 restaurants, one is a la carte with vintage design, the barbecue in our park and the White Gloves restaurant, a traditional restaurant. There are 2 semi-olympic pools, an indoor one and an external one in the park, with thermal water whose temperature is 34°C, open every day from 8 to 23. There are also sauna, Turkish bath and emotional showers. The Thermal Centre is under medical supervision and has its own source of thermal water. It also provides mud therapy accredited and patented by Europe, inhalation therapy, massage therapy, treatments for mind and body wellness, face and body spa treatments and hairstylist. There are a lot of spaces to relax: lobby, reading room, fireplace room, the Mirror Room with classical music concerts every week. Inner bar. Midnight club and smoking room.

Filled with a tremendously talented and dedicated team who treat you like family and aren’t satisfied until they have knocked your socks off:) From the moment you pull up outside until you turn in your keys and bid arrivederci to the AMAZING team at the Abano Ritz Terme, be prepared to be blown away at every opportunity. The ambiance is sophisticated and serene. The pool and the grounds are opulent and oh so soothing. The spa team- ok I’m out of adjectives. Suffice to say I felt pampered. I felt valued as a guest (which unfortunately does not happen as much these days as if used too.) The food?!? OMG THE FOOD!!! Exquisite!!! I lived learning about the mineral springs and deposits at the base of the Eugenian Hills. My body and soul were recharged and I was so surprised! I’ve been told that one needs a full week for the mudpacks to do their thing completely. In just a few days my aches and joint pain disappeared. Would love to spend more time in the unbelievable swimming pool there. My husband and I are already planning out next visit- which will be a full 7 days (at minimum). Do yourself a huge favor- reserve a week at the spa and be prepared to be dazzled ❤️⭐️?
