Reviewed By James-0009127The area in which the hostel is located is great, so close to the centre. The rooms are spacious but there is NO air conditioning so gets very hot at night. The staff are also very unhelpful and almost come across as rude. They have little to no customer service skills, even the simple things such as ‘welcome’. But the actual hostel is very nice. Just need a improvement of actual human interaction.

A wonderful family-run hostel with nice rooms and a home cooked breakfast in an extremely convenient location, just a block or so off the main square. They make you feel right at home and will happily give you detailed advice and ideas for your days in Valladolid. I will stay here any time I come to Valladolid.

Lovely hostel
Reviewed By lucyp822This was a lovely hostel. The staff really made our experience the best. They were so friendly and accommodating! The breakfast was delicious, different every day, and made fresh every day (we had pancakes, quesadillas, and scrambled eggs). The place is small so creates a real family atmosphere. The hostel itself has lots of character and it is obvious how much effort has been put into it. A special mention to Emilio who was so friendly and lovely to talk to. We stayed 4 nights and it’s the first hostel on our trip that we have genuinely missed when we left. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Reviewed By slavkov92The hotel is right in the center of city. Great location! Very clean rooms / much above the average in Mexico! Nice pool and reception. Good parking space. And very kind staff/especially Fracesco - who is the only one fluent in English. Awsome!

Special thanks to nice tips from Wilo and delicious mojitos by juan carlos at happy hour. The city is totally worthwile and check the local market for buying art. best prices compared to quitana roo. cenotes and maya culture very close by.

The Hostel 230 account with WiFi in our rooms, including the breakfast, the establishment is situated very close to the bus station just 4 minutes walk away and nearby tourist areas. The rooms also have hot water and cold water.
Great hotel for backpackers
Reviewed By Mathias CWe booked a 4 beds room for the 4 of us which was the cheapest in town. The service is good, the room was spacious and the owners are really friendly. The included breakfast was filling and delicious perfect before a day of temples. Not possible to have a better stay for this price! Thanks.

Unfortunately a disaster
Reviewed By mona-magdalenaGood Things first: - just 5 Minuten from the Ado, in the center - nice wall-decoration at the common areas - Windy roof-top The first 10 Minutes after arriving were quite nice. But then it turned into a really uncomfortable and bad stay: - The dorm smelled disgusting: a mix of old pizza & effluent and the staff just ignored that for two days - The bathrooms and the pool smelled bad the same way. - The ground at the rooms and at the bathroom was super dirty, the lockers as well. - Also the rooms are very small & poor - in a 6-Bed Dorm we only could find 2 places of socket/plugs - The staff forgot our laundry although we pointed out that we really need it in time. They didn't even noticed it. We had to ask for it 3 times. - Basic Breakfast (Toast, eggs, marmalade) but just instant coffee and no milk. - It was so loud! Even if the door to the dorm is closed, you can hear every spoken word from outside the room. - Especially in the evening when a lot of travelers used to make party with loud music & screaming it was really hard to fall asleep. We asked for changing rooms, but the staff was not interested in helping us out at all. All in all: if you are into partying and if you do not need quiet night & cleanness, you probably will have a good time there. If you wanna have a good sleep, friendly & helpful staff and just a good stay - watch out for other hostels!
