Our hostel is centrally located in the downtown area of XiNing with many local and western restaurants close by. Our aim is to provide a warm and cozy place for backpackers and travelers. Our hostel is on the 16th floor and has a wonderful view of the city and scenery surrounding. We try our best to give you a “home away from home” with several public kitchens and sitting areas with large TV’s with DVD players.

Reviewed By Dharmatara88I felt very at home in this funky place. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. All your basic needs met and convenient to walk to nearby restaurants, shops and sight seeing. It was off season when I stayed so I had a lovely quiet time. I’ll be back!

Whatever you do just stay away from this place
Reviewed By EverythingBurnsI initially chose this hostel assuming that the bad location (nothing but a low-end corner store and some Chinese restaurants at walking distance) was compensated by quality; I was greatly disappointed. Rooms/facilities: - Facilities old and dirty. - No toilet paper in the rooms' toilets; a little in the squat toilets outside. - No breakfast or any meal whatsoever; the hostel systematically lies about this point. - The environment is bad because the hostel attracts the kind of local tourists that shout after midnight and leave the toilet a mess. Not suprisingly, the only foreigner I met there back then was this other guy who had problems with his reservation at some other hostel and ended up here. Services - For the most part the staff has a sneering, bad attitude. - Bad travel advice: I was sent to the wrong bus station; I had to find the right one on my own but thankfully, I can read/speak Chinese, so I did. - The organized trips are a scam. Got charged 200RMB (upped suddenly from 150 when I decided to pay) for transportation only to Qinghai lake. Last minute, they wanted to cancel it because they were a person short of a full car. They put me in car that had no return plan, twice - ended having to to take a random bus back. Out of 8 hours, less than 1 was spent at the lake, the rest was spent being driven around to commercial stops by an idiot constantly smoking inside the car and shouting "Hallo!". - Also bear in mind that most of the staff doesn't speak any English. Overall, what I found more revolting was not the lack of higiene but the greedy scornful attitude of "all foreigners are imbeciles with money deserving to be scammed" - as such I don't think this hostel should belong to YHA which promotes cultural integration and less materialistic values.

Reviewed By 安大爷与达叔西宁最早的国际青年旅舍之一。来过几次了，典型的藏式风格，大厅永远欢声笑语，随便抓几个就能共和一曲。老驴众多，谁也不敢装逼。无论进藏还是进疆，玉树还是敦煌，这里都是众人的前哨&补给站。

Reviewed By howhowss費用偏高、樓下的酒吧吵雜就算了，老闆娘一天到晚都在酸人，一點也沒有溫馨的感覺，而且不能洗澡或沒有熱水明明就是他的問題，也都要怪到我們身上，有一次因為太晚不能洗衣服，他拿去說明天幫我們洗，結果當我們找到自己襪子的時候是在他家的貓籠裡、貓籠下面...整個傻眼阿也不想找他理論，因為老闆娘就只會怪罪我們，像噩夢一樣的青旅阿，這樣在台灣的話早就生存不下去了吧!!!!還說我們台灣人的素質就是很差，自己也不檢討一下自己，想到就火大!!!!!!!!!!

Reviewed By YannTlseNice and central place to stay in Xining. It looks like a family house more than Hostel. Not so easy to find in the map but with the adress it's ok. Ask for Ningzhi Yuan street and the 41 it' s on the left... We took the room.

Reviewed By JOYXJ我们入住的是该酒店副楼3楼的房间，虽然酒店主楼是四星的，但副楼只能算是2星的招待所。房间非常小，也就10平米左右，放了2张3尺的床后，基本没什么转身的空间了，还没有空调。一进门，卫生间一股臭味，还没有热水。和服务员反映了，过了半小时来了个维修工，捣鼓了十几分钟，说是自来水公司停水，没办法，态度极其恶劣。大家一起到主楼前台要求换房。前台态度还好，说是要确认情况。最后回复说，傍晚是员工洗澡的时间，员工浴室把热水都占用了，所以副楼没有热水，吃晚饭后就会有热水了。吃完晚饭，热水的确有了，但有的房间水很小。由于没有空调，只能开窗睡觉，但是7月的天气，还是觉得闷热，一晚没睡好。到凌晨4点半，传来一阵电音喇叭声，整个酒店都醒了。早上一问，才知道，原来是清真寺周五大礼拜～酒店附近就有一家清真寺，晕！所以，周四晚上千万不要入住该酒店，否则周五凌晨4点半就等着被叫醒吧。 房间条件绝对不值300块，早餐是在主楼2楼的餐厅吃的自助餐，东西还是比较多的，这个还可以。其他都不值这个价！

Reviewed By M-spy在干净舒适的雪域，只住了一晚上，可是感觉，与雪域血脉相融了。疯疯的朱姐，可爱的80后老板，还有来自四处的义工，不同的人给了我相同的感觉——回家的感觉。在路上的穷游儿，淡化了看风景的心，感激遇见了你。抛去对人的感觉，我说道说道。雪域整体感觉特别好，房间呢，很干净，很舒适；服务设施齐全，很方便。去雪域，很值。

Reviewed By myconan2012极具藏族特色的一家青旅，位置在市中心东关大街，下火车坐专线2路公交车就可以直达了~~白天驴友都出门逛所以旅舍里很安静，坐在玻璃窗前感受西北高原暖暖的太阳，晚上大家回来后就坐在大厅的炕头听掌柜讲藏传佛教的故事啦~~呼呼，掌柜的和店员都很好，能住在这里太幸福了~

很适合年轻朋友去住的地方
Reviewed By 瑞大爷坐车去青海湖的时候就看见我们定的这个小黄顶的具有名族特色的旅社，我租的是床铺，挺干净的就是没钥匙，大部分住的是背包客，晚上我们在前边酒吧打牌，离黑马河大概有一个小时的车程，挺不错的，唯一不好的是洗漱的地方不是很多，晚上总是在排队等，不过经常出来都可以应对，很不错。
