Cozy bungalows, super friendly staff, delicious healthy food, a swimming pool surrounded by a lush garden with trees, flowers, beautiful statues and burning incenses making an amazing spiritual atmosphere, a yoga shala, a spa with high quality massage and to top it off the owners are always around checking to see if everything is running smooth. Strongly recommend. Terimakasih banyak Mario and everyone at Kepala Cottage! Can’t wait to go back!

Super clean facilities, friendly and most helpful staff and excellent service throughout all time made us feel in paradise and at home. The Villa is placed in a wonderful garden with exotic plants and trees and gives to you all the privacy you need. A private and well maintained swimming pool makes this place complete. The location of Villa Adi is strategically excellent to reach all points and beaches of interest within shortest time. This is definitely the place to go and we sure will come back!

The dorms is in the city center of Amed. You’ll love my place because of the location, the outdoors space, and the ambiance. This is the Bali authentic place, in front of the Jemeluk bay, perfect for doing Freediving, Scuba diving and Snorkeling. We offer everyday yoga class. The dorms in our Freedivers Village, a very comfy dorm all in wood with AC and hot shower. There are bar and restaurants close to our place. we are just in front of the harbor to go to Gili Islands. We rent scooters and can organize your taxi anytime.

If you are staying on the second floor of the hostel huts, it can be tricky to go up and down the stairs / ladder (but the bonus is the top is a little bit more private ;) ) Would definitely stay here again! Recommendation to hostel: please give 50% off yoga to the people STAYING at the hostel. I was planing on going but found the price a little ridiculous considering I was staying there !!

Reviewed By 141wendypTambun Sari homestay is THE place to stay in Amed. The Balinese style bungalow is literally on the beach. On either side, the local fishermen live and go about their daily lives. You walk out of your room and you are on the beach, a stones throw from the sea. Great swimming on your doorstep and fantastic snorkelling 50M to the right. Putu our host was fantastic. He speaks very good English and nothing was too much trouble. Putu can arrange your airport pick up/drop off if you send a request via Booking.com (at a good price). He can also arrange trips/hiring mopeds or snorkelling gear etc on arrival. There are two detached bungalows which make up Tambun Sari. Very well equipped. Massive comfortable 4 poster bed with mosquito net (very romantic). Good A/C, mini fridge, 19L water dispenser hot and cold (replaced when empty), tea and coffee. The bathroom is a good size and quite quirky with bamboo shower head over an open air pebble shower enclosure. Hot and cold water in shower. The bungalow has a lovely porch with table, chairs and sun lounger. Great place to watch the world go by. Breakfast, if you have booked it, is served on the porch each morning at a time to suit you. Wayan our housekeeper delivered breakfast. He also cleaned and made up the room daily. We were originally due to stay for 14 nights, but loved it so much that we were fortunate enough to be able to extend our stay to 19 nights. Our neighbours had the same thought and also extended their stay!! If you are looking for an authentic stay in Bali, to be with the locals, to get away from the tourist trap and most of all to live on the beach..........this is the place. Highly recommended. Thank you Putu and Wayan for making our stay exceptional.

Reviewed By TeamWisconsinI stayed in the upstairs oceanfront suite, as well as a few nights facing the jungle side. I very much enjoyed the family, and ate lots of good meals at the Warung! Snorkeling out front is perfect, as the submarine postbox is just in front of you. Bed was comfortable, and I enjoyed the giant fish statue showerhead!

The staff who work here are lovely, always willing to help with whatever you may need assistance with; directions, transportation, etc. Dorms are kept very clean! The dive instructors are great as well — knowledgeable and accommodating to specific dive sites you have interest in visiting. They also make efforts to arrive early to certain sites to avoid crowds which makes all the difference. Very impressed overall ? Highly recommend!

Bit disappointing
Reviewed By 711ellaI stayed at pacha for a long time - 10 days. There had been a change in my plans and I needed a cheap place to wait for a friend. Although I mostly didn’t mind the stay, there are some things to be cautious of. Firstly, twice I had money missing from my locker. It ended up being around $200aud that I could no longer find. When I asked the staff if anyone had handed it in they got quite defensive and said they couldn’t get into the lockers themselves - even though I originally never accused them. Some other people I met also had money missing during their stay. Also the male staff can be quite pushy and inappropriate if you’re a woman. At first I was fine talking to them but eventually it was too much and I felt uncomfortable with many of the comments. However the rooms are relatively clean, it’s affordable, and you will meet many travellers. Just be cautious with valuables if you choose to stay here regardless.

Un seul dortoir, avec une belle terrasse d'où vous pourrez profiter d'un beau coucher de soleil. Pti dej gratuit, thé et café en accès libre toute la journée. Ambiance détendue et familiale. Chloé et son mari sont pleins de bons conseils. Les bémols: un WIFI un peu faible, pas de rideaux aux lits et un refill water un peu cher.

Reviewed By 215maudbQuand on a réservé on a eu comme un gros doute le prix était tellement bas...qu’elle belle surprise d’avoir une si belle chambre bien soignée, bungalow avec grande terrasse et salle de bain en extérieur très grande et chic, attention ils ne possèdent que 2 bungalows et un dortoir alors si vous voyez qu’ils ont une dispo foncez! Le ptit dej continental est topissime, on en revient toujours pas du rapport qualité / prix! Le centre de plongée affilié est de qualité. Service impeccable, encore merci à Madé qui nous a fait partager avec sa famille une cérémonie dans leur temple derrière l’hôtel, elle nous a fait passer un moment inoubliable
