Beautiful park with moors, wooded areas, hilly areas and plenty of wildlife. Good options for food & drinks on the pavilion or in villages around the park. Walking routes and cycling routes are numbered and can be stringed together at will.

De Blauwe Kamer

Reviewed By FyFazan - Oslo, Norway

If you enjoy bird watching this is the number one place to visit when visiting Wageningen. You are very likely to see Pheasants when walking the trails. Hawks, common cuckoos, cormorants and herons are some other birds I’ve witnessed here. However, the most famous bird attracting most visitors is the Lepelaar - a rare bird in Europe. The Panorama Rrestaurant Blauwe Kamer is also a highly rated restaurant situated next to the visitor centre. Blauwe Kamer is only a 20 minute bike ride from the centre of Wageningen. A perfect place to visit foe enjoying the sunset as well. My number one must visit attraction in Wageningen.
