The 10 Best Hidden Gems Things to do in Vancouver, Canada

March 27, 2022 Brain Ambrose

Vancouver was founded as “Gastown” by an Englishman with a penchant for beer and storytelling. Today Gastown is a historic section of the Canadian metropolis, and the lively pubs still reflect the area’s former status as a sort of community drinking center. The city’s forests, grand parks, and impressive suspension bridge beckon travelers to explore them, as do the city’s shops and museums. Relive the glory of the 2010 Winter Games with visits to Olympic venues and the marvelous Olympic Cauldron.

Year round we offer calm water fully guided fishing charters and wilderness eagle viewing jet boat tours less than ½ hour from Vancouver. This became the foundation for the many extraordinary years to come. OUR COMMITMENT We are dedicated to providing every client the opportunity to fish the most productive rivers in the world and tour the most exclusive and pristine areas British Columbia has to offer. Further we strive to make every client feel welcome, comfortable, safe, and to provide the highest level of service and quality in everything that we do. That is not just a statement but rather an agreed upon commitment that each member of the team at Lang's Fishing Adventures is devoted to. CONSERVATION AND COMMUNITY From the start Lang's Fishing Adventures has upheld a deep commitment to well defined corporate responsibility objectives that focus on wildlife conservation, rehabilitation and habitat restoration. This is further paired with direct community development initiatives that include youth outdoor adventures, recreational facility enhancement and Fraser River clean-up programs.
