Being an archery lover, I always thought this place wouldn’t be much fun with the big marshmallows on the arrows. Was I wrong! You can still accurately aim and shoot with force. It’s amazing fun that after just one game with coworkers I signed up for the winter league. Everyone is so welcoming, I can’t wait to play more :)

From the moment you are welcomed in to the venue, actors are in complete character. It's an excellent entertaining evening, and the TWIST at the end is brilliant. When you think it's going to be a "run of the mill" murder mystery evening.. it's not. Well written script and excellent actors.

Had an amazing time at BATL i have been here many times before and it is always an fantastic time. You are greated at the door and told to sign some waiver (obviously for saftey reasons) BUT it also puts your name into a system that generates random games for a tournament that you play within your event with your group! HOW COOL IS THAT!!!! Anyways moving on, we went to our arena was greated by our coach, for us it was Aerock! #notERIC. We did practice those and he made sure everyone was throwing a sticking it into the target in nooo time. After this he told us how the tournment works rules and saftey percaustion. We played we cheered, we ooh'd and aww'd we got to through the big axe a couple times and he was greaat and coaching us on that as well! We were all able to make playoffs too.. and yes there are playoffs with only one CHAMPION (me) at the end. Anyways its a great place to go to drink and have fun and order some food. Flynn on bar was great and Eddie was there too making sure everything was kept clean on our arena and Keith also was helpful for sign ins. Jackie also helped say hi to use at the arena made sure we are all happy and good to go. THANK YOU EVERYONE FOR AN AMAZING TIME!!! Will recomend to others to go! Only if you want to have an amazing time and laugh till your stomach hurts with your friends, family and co-workers!

Hog's Back Falls

Beautiful 60-foot waterfall where the Rideau River and Rideau Canal part.

Reviewed By T6002SQsarahw - Ottawa, Canada

Located right across the road from Mooney's Bay, Hog's Back Falls are a wonderful place to visit no matter the season. They are even more impressive in the spring when the water levels are higher. The formation is unique and in summer/fall/winter you can clearly see the rock that gives the falls their name. It's harder to spot in the spring due to the high water levels. There are paved walking trails on on the parking lot side of the falls and there's a shorter, paved path to an observation area on the other side. A wide pedestrian bridge allows visitors to cross safely over the falls. There is also a paved path that goes under the road and allows you to connect to Mooney's Bay beach. The Rideau Canal is also nearby, just on the other side of the river. The park at the falls is small but well kept with many mature trees. Washroom facilities are available in the summer months and I think there's a canteen as well. Hog's Back Falls are just one of Ottawa's many examples of spectacular nature nestled in the middle of an urban area.

Bank of Canada Museum

Enter the heart of the economic system and explore fun, hands-on, interactive exhibits that cover everything from how people’s expectations affect the health of an economy to how inflation targeting works (hint: you get to fly a rocket ship!). The Museum also features artifacts from the National Currency Collection -- the most complete collection of Canadian coins, notes and tokens in the world.

We visited the museum by chance and were glad that we decided to go there. This place is so interesting and gives a lot of details about commerce and banks in general that we came back wisened! There are numerous displays inside, we saw the largest collection of bank notes of practically all the countries in the world. The tour guide was exceptionally good with her vast knowledge and wit.
