This was our first ever visit for a Turkish Bath at the tender age of 57. We were apprehensive so relied on the reviews on Tripadvisor to give us the confidence to book. We were not disappointed. The service was excellent, we were well looked after and the whole experience was great. We went for the Silver package (£35 each) and had a sauna, steam room, scrub, body shampoo, face mask and a ‘medium’ body massage. Left feeling very relaxed but more importantly with skin that better absorbed the sun tan lotion and as a result I didn’t burn at all on this holiday (I usually end up with a lobster belly). All in all a fab visit and we would highly recommend.

Third time at Mimis turkish bath and it gets even better every year. We are family of four, two boys aged 14 and 11. They insisted on going back to Mimis even though we were offered cheaper elsewhere. It's worth it! Fantastic from start to end, love the tuc tuc ride and the ladies are all so lovely to you with a great massage and your skin is left so soft afterwards. We will be back x

Belediye Hamami

Reviewed By MrsAlf - Hebden Bridge, United Kingdom

This is run by the UK equivalent council or local authority. It’s where all the local Turkish men and women go for their Turkish bath. Or more precisely a sauna, wash, total body defoliation, massage, cool water dip and a relax. Me and my husband Andy visited today. It’s clean and welcoming. The man that works in the reception doesn’t speak any English but you can point out what you want from the photos on the wall. He then calls for the ‘hamam’ man to come whilst you have a sauna. Two employees came, a man and a woman. We were suitably washed scrubbed and cleaned including a hair wash and soapy massage. In a room together, modesty at all times observed. I wore a bikini. The top was undone by the masseur whilst I was on the marble bed. Then, after the treatment fastened again as I turned over. I kept my bikini bottoms on. Don’t worry. The massage and wash doesn’t interfere with your bikini bottom area. The groin area is cleaned and scrubbed but ease believe me, nothing is out of place. You are safe. I can’t describe how wonderful the feeling is. Being washed and exfoliated and massages by another human is such a lovely experience. The care taken and the professionalism with which it is done I will return again and again. As a treat, I finished my hamam with an additional 30 minute rose oil full body massage. Andy just relaxed with an apple tea. The massage was thorough. Not deep. Not too much pressure and it was a lady. She was responsive to my reaction when the area being massaged felt sensitive (just my foolish sunburn). Again, the lady spoke no English but it was no consequence and the experience was a wonderful indulgent ending to my ‘Turkish Bath’ my Hamam. Two people full Hamam and 30 minute massage for me was TL210 at an exchange rate of 6.5/£ it was about £32. It’s not the first time we’ve been. They consistently provide a good service. Try it. You’ll love it.
